Hey guys, this is Cameron from JazTime.com and today we'll be reviewing the Rolex Datejust 36, reference number 116233. We'll be going over the price, the dial, bezel, case, crown, bracelet, clasp. And we'll talk about the movement towards the end of the video. So, as of December 2016, you can get this at a Rolex retailer for $10,400, but at JazTime.com you can get it for as low as $8,300. Okay, so let's go jump right into this. The dial is a nice white dial with index markers fashioned in 18 karat yellow gold. These markers glow for up to eight hours as they are luminesce, so they glow in the dark for up to eight hours. On the right here, we have the date here at the 3:00 position, with a cyclops lens on top for magnification and easier viewing of that date. As you can see there, on top of the crystal protrudes a little bit. Okay, with the bezel now, we'll go ahead and review the bezel now. The bezel is just a very nice, fluid 18 karat yellow gold, it's absolutely stunning once the sunlight touches it. It's kind of like a disco in your car, reflects the light very nicely, very beautifully. With the case, the case size as I mentioned before, is a 36 millimeter case. And that's from my index finger here to my thumb. That's 36 millimeters. Profile of the watch, not too high, very nice, will sit under suit cuffs, dress cuffs. It will sit under anything really, just very nicely. So, it won't tug on any of your clothing. The crown here on the right, at the 3:00 position is an 18 karat yellow gold crown, is a screw down twin-lock double, I apologize, screw down twin-lock double waterproof system and it allows you to wind the watch, adjust the date and set the hands however you need to. Let's go ahead and move onto the bracelet now. So, with the bracelet we have what Rolex terms the yellow rolesor, which is a combination of that 18 karat yellow gold and the steel. As you can see straight down the middle we have the very beautifully high polished yellow gold, and at the outer edges of those links, on this oyster band is a sand finish, or brush deal on the outer edges giving a very nice contrast to that gold. Really bringing that gold more out, as you can see it goes throughout the whole oyster bracelet and very nicely patterned. For the clasp, we have a very simple, very simple folding oyster clasp as you can see there. Pops open very easily, very securely. We have a very nice high polished clasp blade. This is actually very recent in 2016 where they actually made these high polish clasp blades. Before it was actually a sand blasted in the center that has the Rolex name embossed in the center of that. On the back of the clasp, we have the comfort extension link, which allows for minimal adjustments of five meter decrements. As you can see here, five millimeters inwards. And five millimeters outwards. And what that's used for is if it's a hot day and your wrist starts to swell, you can adjust for that swelling and give more comfort to your wrist. So, very nice feature to have. Okay. And on the back of the case, we'll go ahead and talk about the back of the case and the movement now. So, with the back of the case, we have the very basic oyster case back. It houses their caliber of 31, 35 in-house manufactured movement, that's perpetual, mechanical and self-winding. Has a precision of minus two, plus two a day. Allows for the functions of the center hour, minutes, seconds hand with instantaneous changing of the date with rapid setting. It also has for the oscillator, it's a paramagnetic blue, parachrome hairspring. And has a power reserve of 48 hours, so very beautiful. This movement has been in production for over 15 years, very durable movement that has lasted over times. So, great job to Rolex on that one.
