Welcome to JazTime.com. Today we're gonna be reviewing the Rolex Datejust, a 36 millimeter one one six two three three. We're gonna talk about the price, the dial, the bezel, the case, the bracelet, the movement, and let you know where you can purchase it at JazTime.com for the lowest price anywhere online. So, let's dive right in. As of 2016, December, the retail price on this watch is roughly $10,800. You can buy it new for roughly $8,500 at JazTime.com or, we have used ones for roughly $5000 to $7000 depending on age and rank, uh, age and condition. Now let's talk about the dial. You'll notice right off the bat this is a very unique dial, it has a black outer ring with a silver inside ring. And this is also known affectionately as like a bullseye, or a tuxedo dial. It's no longer in production, making it even more coveted and quite unique. It gives a very, very cool look to it. And I don't know of any other Rolexes that are currently using this bullseye style dial. If you do, let us know in the comment section below. You'll also notice here it's using an index marker. And those index markers are luminous, meaning you can see what time it is at night. That's quite a good function. You'll also notice it has a date function here at the three o'clock. That, of course, is very handy. Now moving on to the bezel, you'll notice that it uses this fluted bezel, or this ridged gold bezel. In fact, this bezel is fluted and it's made of yellow gold. Making it valuable, making it shiny, making it beautiful. Okay? Now moving on to the case. The size of this watch is 36 millimeters from my thumb to my middle finger here. And that is for the longest time been the standard men's size Datejust. Although, as of 2007, they have upped it to 41 millimeters Datejust for men. But the 36 still works quite well for those who have somewhat small wrists. It's using a super case. And it's a model block steel, 904L steel. And the case back uses a solid case back. Now moving on to the bracelet, it here is a polished and brushed, so it has a polished gold center link, as you see right there. And brushed stainless steel on the outside. It's using an oyster bracelet. And this is quite good because it still gives it that gold look, that high class gold look, yet it has steel reinforcing the outside. Now moving on to the buckle. Now I'm just wiping these down, since it's gold and shiny and it's just been polished, it's easy to leave fingerprints. Doesn't mean it's dirty, doesn't mean, just fingerprints. So relax. Now you're looking at this buckle, this buckle is what's called the oyster folding clasp. It has one push and it will open. I will show you. Bam, just like that. And that opens easily the clasp. Now if I want to close it back up, it just takes one push. You'll notice that it has these nice hallmarks inside, and that it's quite a beautifully designed clasp. One simple push, open. Close, open, very simple. Now it also has, here, a easy five millimeter comfort extension, which allows it to make it bigger if it's cold, like this, watch. Pop. That makes it five millimeters bigger. If I'm cold, I push it in. Snap it in and voila. Five millimeters smaller. Now, the movement uses a 31-35 movement, it's automatic, and it has a 48 hour power reserve, uses a very strong movement that has been around forever, for like 20 years. So it's a tried and tested model. Now here it is on the wrist.
