Hey guys, this is Kevin from JazTime.com and today I have for you a watch that is very simple and to the point. It is the Rolex Oyster Perpetual, Datejust and the black index. The model for this watch is 116334. We also have a link in the description below, so before we start, I'm letting you know we'll be doing an un-boxing reviewing of the case, I'll show you how to adjust the time, also we'll be going over the bracelet and the clasp, I'll also let you know where you can find this watch for the lowest possible price. Okay, so we're receiving this watch brand new. Always check for the stickers on the watch, that's located at the underside here and the top here, and on this side of the bracelet here, along with the inside of the clasp, located here, and the inner side of the bracelet back here. Additionally, there'll be a green sticker on the back of the case itself right there. So along with that, you'll be also receiving the box, which contains booklets of information, specifically, this one's for the Datejust and also a warranty card that has the serial number along with the model number located in this nice little plastic card in this leather cardholder and that will be located in the back of the box above, in the pocket up here. Okay, so let's move onto the watch now. The case size of this watch is 41mm in diameter, has a beautiful fluted white-gold bezel that is high-polish to bring a nice shine, beautiful shine around, as you can see, there's a light, glistens very nicely, the dial color is black with index markers and hands that are luminous, so these indicators here all glow for up to eight hours to better assist with the readability of the watch. The date is located at the three o'clock position, over here, with a cyclops lens that sits on top of the sapphire scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. As I tilt this watch, you can see that the crystal is nice and flat with the exception of that cyclops lens as you can see here, has that little dome right here, regardless of that, this watch will fit nicely under a suit cuff, as opposed to something like Audemars Piguet that has a large dome, large dome sapphire crystals that might stretch out the cuff a little bit. A little mention about the case is that this is a super-case, as you can see, what the notes that says the super-case is you can see the lugs here, they're much thicker, much, looks like much beefier lug sizes, top and bottom, if this had a crown guard, the crown guard lugs here would also be thicker, but this one does not have the crown guards, unfortunately. So guys that are looking, guys with larger wrists, rather, this is the watch for you, that super-case once again makes the feel of the watch a bit heavier, but definitely gives a look of much more durable, much beefier, the only downside I can see is really just the look of the lugs to the bracelet, this is not very symmetrical, but the case and everything else is so beautiful, like you probably won't even notice that, it's just a minor problem. Okay so let's move on to the crown, the crown is located at the three o'clock position right here, it has Rolex's simple screw-down crown. To pop the crown out, you just have to turn the crown counter-clockwise and that pops it out to the first position. This will allow the winding of the watch, only 20 winds clockwise, otherwise you might damage the watch if you go more, so you just have to do this 20 times like that and it should be all set to go. Tightening the crown up once more will access the quick-set feature as you can see here, as I just move it clockwise, you'll here a little tick and then it'll immediately swap the date. Very nice feature, as opposed to moving the hands all around the dial for a 24-hour cycle, just to change the date once. Okay well, one final tug, as you can see there, the hack movement has stopped, or rather the second hand has stopped completely, this allows bi-directional movement of the hands to adjust the time however you like. Always make sure you push the crown always back against the case and tighten it snugly against it to keep this watch water-resistance up to 100 meters or 330 feet. Also notice that when we put the crown back, the hack movement has started again and the second hands begin to move. Okay so let's move on to the back of the case now. As you can see, the back of the case is just a very simple fluted oyster case that houses Rolex's 3136 movement. That movement is what allows for that quickset date feature to exist on this datejust. Along with that, the movement is mechanical and it is a self-winding movement so when you wear this watch on your wrist, as long as you're moving your wrist around, this watch will wind itself. Okay so let's move on to the bracelet now. The bracelet is a very, very beautiful oyster brace, heavy-style oyster bracelet, it has a nice high-polish in the center of the links. Also, it additionally a sand finish on the outer portions of the links, to create a nice contrast between the two and really bring out more of that polish out. Just gonna see the other side as well, it goes through all the way around, only stopping at the clasp. Right there. Okay, so with the clasp, it is a very basic, simple folding oyster clasp, as you can see there, you just pop it out and it just comes off and then you can just pop it back in. Other clasp styles like for the sports Rolexes, they have a additional safety feature where this little buckle right here will snap on top of the oyster, this one is more of a dress watch, not to say that this clasp isn't as durable as the sports watches, it still fits very snugly and won't come off with, you know, crazy movements. So inside the clasp itself, we have the Rolex name engraved on there with a high polish, or against the high polish as well. And now let me show you this watch on the wrist. Okay, look at that. As you can see as I tilt it against the light, the bezel shines beautifully, and it blacked out, it's just a very, very nice and classy feel. This watch really feels fantastic on the wrist, it's not overbearing weight from the large case size or super-case, it really is just a very overall, very good watch overall. Like I said, this would be more preferable for a dress watch as crystal is nice and flat, fits under a suit cuff very nicely and it's so overall very durable for a Datejust.
