Hey guys, this is Karim from JazTime.com, and today we will be reviewing the Cartier Pasha C de Cartier. The reference number for this watch is W31074M7. We will be going over the price, dial, case, bezel, crown, bracelet, and the clasp, with the movement towards the end of the video. So as of March 2017, this watch is currently discontinued. It originally retailed for $6,300. At Jaztime we can still get you this watch for as low as $6,000. So let's go ahead and review the dial now. The dial is a beautiful white dial with stylized arabic numerals, the three, six, nine, and twelve, the dial is protected by a glare-proof scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, date's located at the four o'clock position. For the hands we have Cartier's stylized sword hands with the center portions of the sword hands filled with luminosity. Also to mention, at the three, six, and nine, we have these little circular dots here, a triangle at the twelve o'clock position, and those additionally also glow in the dark. So that provides easier viewing at night. The hands will glow, these three dots and the triangle will glow as well. Moving on, for the bezel, we have a silver plated fixed bezel, which has a nice shine as it is high polished, as you can see, very reflective of the light. Now moving on to the case now, the case is a 35.25 millimeter case. It's a little bit less than 9 millimeters thick. Has a nice brushed, the middle portion is brushed steel, it's kind of lining of a high polish on the top and bottom. On the other side as we move on to the crown, we have Cartier's, well it makes rather the Pasha's unique characteristic is this small little cap that is held by a chain and is screwed down to protect the crown. So you can see here I've turned it counterclockwise, and there you go. So this cap protects the case. And it reveals a smaller crown. The crown, you can actually just go ahead and pull it out. You pull out once, it allows for adjustment of the date, as you see at the four o'clock position, the date is easily adjusted very quickly, very easily. Another pull of the crown, into the final position, will allow you to set the hands bi-directionally, as you can see there. One thing to mention is it does stop the seconds hand, or the hack movement, so it allows you to set the time to an atomic clock, such as an online clock or your iPhone. Press the crown back in, we'll start that hack mover or seconds hand again. Always make sure, press the crown nice and tight against the case, and screw the unique cap chain back on, snug and tight against the case. Also keep this watch water resistant for 100 meters that's 330 feet. Let's go ahead and review the strap now. For strap, we have a very beautiful brush steel bracelet, and it is 18 millimeters wide. The deployment or the clasp is a sort of butterfly deployment clasp. As you can see here, indicated by the centerpiece of the link, has a little engraving of it right there, and go ahead and pop that out. See, very nice, very simple, has Cartier's name embossed onto the clasp itself there. We have the Swiss made on the left, and the metal content engraved on the right. Okay, let's go ahead and close that up. Very simple, very easy, nice and hidden. Keeps one beautiful pattern all around. Let's go ahead and review the movement now. So the movement's housed in this case backing, as you can see it is secured down by screws all around the sides of the case, as you can see there. There's engravings on the case itself, it is saying that is an automatic movement, it is saying that is an automatic movement, it also has the water resistance engraved at the bottom left here, with the stainless steel engraved on the bottom here as well. So the movement that this case back houses is Cartier's incredibly reliable automatic caliber zero-49 movement, and it's made up of 21 jewels. Like I said it is an automatic movement. So let me actually go ahead and show you this watch on the wrist now. So pop this out, pop this out, I do have an average men's size wrist, so seven and a half inches, this is a men's watch. There is a ladies' version of this watch as well. Okay, so here it is on my wrist. Look at that, very nice, very simple watch, beautiful dial, and here's the side profile on my wrist, see, not too high, will definitely fit under suit cuffs very nicely, very easily.
