Welcome to Jaztime. Today we're going to be reviewing a very cool watch. This is the Panerai Pam 92. We're gonna go through a couple cool things, features about this watch, do an un-boxing to show you what it comes with and also show you how it works. So this is the watch itself. What makes it special, I'll just go through briefly, is that it has 1950 case which has these rounded edges that you see here and also has this some what domed glass and no cyclops, meaning the cyclops is this thing that hovers over the date so it has a very clean look to it. And I'll go through movement and a few other things, but let's go see what it comes with. And let's start with that. So first you see here, you're wondering what these tools are. On your right is the tool to change the strap and on the left is the screwdriver. Okay, it also comes with this manual. There's an instruction manual on how to use the watch in a bunch of different languages. And then generally, the second one is a certificate which gives you the warranty, date of purchase, and a few specifics about the watch. Now onto the watch itself. Now what makes this special, well one, it's 42 millimeter as oppose to the general 44 millimeter. Now why might that be important? Well, not everybody is gonna want to wear a 44 because those are generally much bigger. And now on this one, what makes it special? Well, it has a 1950 case which is the new style case as you can see here. And what is a 1950 case? It has these rounded edges that you see my finger pointing to as oppose to the normal Luminor Marina case. All right. It also has, if you look on the back which I'm showing you here, it's gonna have this movement which is an in-house movement. What that means is that Panerai produces it's own movement, it doesn't outsource it out to another place. So that is pretty cool. All these pieces are made by Panerai themselves, making it very unique, making it very desirable, etc, etc. Now I'm want to show you how to use this watch. You unclip this lever right here, and that's gonna stop it from being water tight. The first one here, that's called the wind. That winds the watch so you can use it. I pull it out one more, and it's gonna be a quick set, semi-quick set, excuse me. It's gonna move this hour hand like you see here. As it moves, every time it makes two full revolutions, the date changes once. If I pull it out one more, it's gonna activate what's called the hack. You see here on your left hand side? Where the second hand is when I pull this, it's gonna stop. Bang, and it stops right on que. Here I can adjust the minute hand. Once I push this all back in, the hack on the left would restart and the watch is now keeping time. It's been wound and ready to be worn. Also comes with this leather strap you see here. It's actually a crocodile leather strap. And I'm gonna go ahead and put this on the wrist so you guys can see it. Now this is what it looks like on the wrist, a 42 millimeter PAM 392 1950 case.
