Hey guys this is Kevin from Jaztime.com and today we'll be reviewing a special watch. This is a Audemas Piguet, Roayl Oak. This in to a 41 millimeter. The reference number for this model is 15400ST.OO.122.0st.03. Of course we'll have a link for the watch in the description below. Today we'll be going over the price, the dial bezel, crown, case, bracelet, class and the movement towards the end of the video. So let's go ahead and start off with the price. So the price as of January 2017, you can get this at a authorized Audemas Piguet retailer for $17,800. Specifically for this version, as you can see it does have a blue dial. The blue dial is boutique only piece. This means you can only get this at a boutique. But you can also get this at Jaztime for as low as $17,100, okay. So I want to mention again that this is a harder to get piece, as this is only usually gotten from boutiques. Otherwise, you're looking at other dial configurations, if you're looking for other dial configurations the prices of those, you can get those at a retailer for the same retail price, the seventeen thousand eight hundred. But you can get it for as low as $13,900 at Jaztime.com. And I'll talk a little bit about the dial configurations as we move on to reviewing the dial. As you can see, this is the blue, blue colored dial. Other configurations come in black, white and gray. And nix markers are only the only hour markers that this watch comes in. So you can only get this in the index. The hour markers are fashioned in 18 karat white gold. They are luminescent for up to eight hours. The pattern of the dial is what Audemas Piguet calls it Grand Tapisserie pattern. Which are these smaller looking square patterns. They also have the Mega Tapisserie, which is a larger square patterns, if you're interested in that. We have the date located at the three o'clock position and is easily changed by the crown. No magnification, so it is a little hard to read, as it is a smaller date window. Moving on, let's go ahead and review the bezel now. The bezel is just a stainless steel bezel. Has a brush polish on it, while the screws on it are of a high polish. Moving on to the case. The case is a 41 millimeter case, as I mentioned before. And that's from my index finger here to my thumb. That's a 41 millimeter in diameter case. It is a stainless steel case made out of the industry standard 316L steel. From the side of the case, profile's not too large. The thickness is only about 9.8 millimeters of thickness. So close to a 10 millimeter thickness. Will fit under suit cuffs, dress cuffs very nicely, very easily. This also has that same brush polish as well. Moving on to the crown side. For the crown side we have the AP initials engraved onto the side of the crown. It's just a very simple screw lock, screw lock crown and it allows for winding of the hand, adjustment of the date and the hands. So as you seen there, I've moved the counter clockwise to unscrew the crown out of the case. This is a hand winding position which you can wind the watch, as you can hear there. Up to 20 to 30 times no more, as you might damage internals of the watch. A simple tug will let you, will set it to the date setting position, as you can see here. As I go counter clockwise, the date is set very instantaneously, very simply, very easily. Another final tug of the crown will be in the hand setting position. One thing to mention is that the seconds hand or the hack movement will be stopped once you get to this final position by directionally changing the hands. And that's to allow for exact timing or rather exact setting of the watch. So let's just say you wanna set it to an online clock, an atomic clock you can set it to the very second as you press the crown back in. It starts the hack moving again. Always make sure to wind the crown, nice and tight against the case. As you will keep the water resistance up to 50 meters. So let's move on to the bracelet now. So as you can see, this is the AP bracelet. Clasp is located with the AP logo there. And I'll show you how to use that in a second. I just want to go ahead and show you the bracelet all the way around. It is a stainless steel bracelet and it has AP's folding clasp which works like butterfly clasp, as you see here. Pops out left and right and has the Audemas Piguet name on the clasp blades. Left and right there. Always make sure to place in the side with the little bar in first as that's how the clasp latches or locks in like that. Very simple, very easy to use. And it's very nice cuz it keeps that nice bracelet pattern all the way throughout while hiding the clasp behind the bracelet there. Okay. So let's go ahead and move on to the movement and the back of the case. So here is the back of the case. And one thing I want to mention, is that we have the Royal Oak name, engraved at the top there. The serial number is located at the southern side but of course I blocked it out with a pice of paper. The movement is AP's in house caliber of 31 20 movement. It is a very precise movement. Has a 60 hour power reserve, and the movement is made of 280 parts or 40 jewels. I want to mention about the one main thing I want to mention is the router here, which is also known as the oscillator weight. It's made of 22 karat gold. And I want to try to get a little bit closer here You can see that the router has some symbols engraved on itself. And its actually AP's coat of arms. So on the right we have a horse with a sword and three stars. And on the left, the left side of the router we have three stars and a bird. So pretty cool. Pretty cool thing to see there. So let me go ahead and show you this watch on my wrist now. Okay, so once again as I said before we need this portion down first with the little bar to hold it in. And there we go. Just look at that on the wrist already it already looks very nice, very beautifully patterned. And there we are for the watch on the wrist there. Very beautiful dial like I said, this is a boutique only piece. You can get a little discount at Jaztime.com So that's how the watch looks.
