If you'd like to know the price, simply click on the links in the description below. We would greatly appreciate if you purchase your next watch from us at JazTime.com. Today, we'll be talking about the TAG Heuer Carrera on a black azurage dial or azurage dial. In other words, black, with a completely steel case leather strap. Model number WAR211A.FC6180. Now, this case is 39 millimeters in diameter from finger to thumb, right. Entirely made out of a polished steel with some very fine brushing here and there. Not too easy to see, but they're there. And there's also a clear, open case back with a sapphire crystal, as well as the front, also with a sapphire crystal. The crystal on the front is a bit domed, as you can see there, whereas the crystal on the back nice and flat. The crystal on the back allows you to see that movement in there, the Calibre 5 movement, as you can see into the rotating right there. And it has that winding crown, signature of TAG Heuer. All right, this also has a 100 meter water resistance. It has a very nice dress watch appearance to it but there's a little bit more to that a little bit later in the video. All right, so this dial, as I said a little bit earlier, has that azurage finishing. So, if you take a look at it very, very closely, I'm not even sure if the camera can even pick this up. You'll have to see it with your own eyes, but there's actually very, very tightly placed circles, all concentric. It's very difficult to see but much easier to see with your naked eye and very, very, very, very, very closely but it gives it that very interesting look and reflection. If you can ignore the glare on the glass for a moment, it gives really interesting reflections, almost concentric looking, and, you know, obviously easier to see with the eyes. A little bit more difficult for the camera to pick up there, so apologies for that. Anyway, it has the index applied hour markers, double index markers for the 12, single for the rest of the hours. All right. And taking a look at this with the lights off, you'll only see that there's the LumiNova applications on only the hour and minute hands. So, in a pinch, this could work in low light situations but not so well in pitch-black, all right, and certainly not deep underwater because your watch will be waterlogged, all right. And while we're here, we can also talk about how this works. At the default position, you can actually already wind the watch by rotating the crown nice and easy. No need to unwind it first in order to get the watch started. All right, all you need to do to set the date is just pull out to the very first position and you can rotate it clockwise. And it's about a little bit over quarter turn, maybe closer to a half turn, to advance the date by one. So, you know, chances are most of us aren't actually time travelers. So, this works just fine for, again, most of us, and the only time you'll really need to advance the date would be on the ends of each month, you know, depending on 30, 31 days or in the case of February 28 or 29 days. So, keep that in mind. And it's honestly not that big of a deal, right? Pulling out to the final position allows you to hack the seconds hand, and then you can then move the minute hand to whichever position is necessary to maintain precise timekeeping. Alright, and simply just press it back up against the case to maintain that 100 meter water resistance for 330 feet below sea level. All right and what makes all of this work is the Calibre 5 automatic movement. All right, the Calibre 5 automatic movement is COSC certified, so it obviously will work very well. It has that certification from the Swiss Chronos, the official Swiss Chronometer Control. Alright, and it has the diameter of 26 millimeters or 11.5 lines, 25 or 26 rubies, depending on the execution, allowing you to have the center hour, minute, and seconds hand with that instant date setting. It also has that hacking seconds function, as I showed earlier. It has the balanced frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, or four Hertz, and a power reserve of up to 38 hours. The oscillating mass there also has the Cotes de Geneve engraving with the TAG Heuer Calibre 5 Swiss-made engraving on there as well. A little hard to show you but I'm zoomed in as far as I can to show you there. All right and note that the rotator there allows you to wind the watch effectively just by wearing this watch after having wound it. So, 38 hours, well your mileage may vary depending on how often you wear this. And certainly this is a watch that you can certainly wear just about every day. Has a very dressy look and appearance. All right and now onto the bracelet here. The bracelet is actually a strap rather. It's an alligator leather strap in all black on the outside with black stitching to match. All right, with, actually, light stitching on the bottom side there. So, very good attention to detail from TAG Heuer to give matching stitching based on the color of the band on the outside and on the inside. All right and looking at the clasp here, we have a polished steel clasp with that double button deployment system. So, you can't accidentally bump up against something and have it open. It just simply won't work. So, you'll have to just press these buttons in. There you go. And you have that folding open clasp and the way that this works with the extra part of the leather strap, you can actually just lift it up and size it as necessary. All right. Place it back down and you can close it again right around your wrist. And while we're here, I can try it on and give you some more of my thoughts as to how it looks on the wrist. Now, on the wrist, 39 millimeters, it's a bit big but the lugs don't poke out quite as much or it could just be the leather, the fact that the leather strap contrasts so much with the lugs, the high polished steel lugs, that you actually get a really good ratio of case to bracelet while wearing this, especially on an average sized wrist like mine, a 7.25 to 7.5 inches in circumference. All right. And overall, it has a very good look to it. The weight is actually very, very light, Despite being all steel, it's actually not that heavy. The weight distribution is very much right underneath the casing right there because the strap, obviously, is very light as well, with only just the polished steel clasp there to counterbalance the watch, which is already pretty light itself. And, as a small demonstration, it will fit very nicely under a long sleeve and no doubt, very well underneath a suit cuff. All right. So, enough of what I think, what do you think about this watch?
