Welcome to JazTime.com. Today we're gonna be reviewing the Panerai PAM 312. We're gonna talk to you about the price, the dial, the bezel, the movement, the bracelet, and where you can buy it at JazTime.com for the lowest price anywhere online. So let's jump right in. As of 2016 December, the retail price on this is $7,500 and you can buy it at Jaztime brand new for mid-six thousands, and you can buy it for used for between $4,500 and $5,500. So it's quite a savings. And let's jump right in. As of 2016 they actually came out with a newer version of this, it's called the PAM 1312, and you can check that video out in our other YouTube videos, and you can also see the differences in the other one. I'll tell you right now, one of the differences is that the second hand here is blue on the 1312, and it's also a little bit thinner in terms of profile. Now for the dial on this watch, what you'll notice that's quite special is that it's using a sandwich dial. The sandwich dial means that the luminescent is actually underneath the dial, as you can see at that six o'clock position. And many other ones use luminescent that is painted on top of the dial. So this is a black sandwich dial with the date at the three o'clock position, and the seconds at the nine o'clock position. Now the bezel is gonna be a polished steel, and this steel is the same steel used on the case which is a AISI 316 brushed steel. So that is quite a difference because some of these cases, such as the PAM 359, use a polished case, and this one uses a brushed case. Now how do you tell the difference? Well you see here how it has this dull finish on the case? And you notice the bezel has sort of a shiny look to it? Well that shiny look is a polished case, polished steel, whereas the brushed is the dull finish. And you can sorta see that on the back here, at the case back itself, is also polished. So you can see the difference between polished and brushed. I might add that it's using a 1950 case. That's just one of the style cases that they have. And how you tell it has a 1950 case is you look at the edges. So you see right here, where my thumb is pointing, it has sort of a rounded edge to it? Well that's using the 1950 case. Sort of a throwback to that era. Now at the crown, as you can see, Panerai is famous for this, it's called a crown protector. It's used on their Luminor Marina 1950 case as well as their standard Luminor Marina case. It's not used on their Radiomir cases, so it's quite special and they're the only company that I can think of that is using this, or at least major manufacturers that's using this. Now let's look at the movement. The movement here is quite special as well because it's using a P9000 calibre movement. Okay? And it's a fully in-house movement which means it's all made by Panerai. It has, let's see, 28 jewels and 197 components with a three-day power reserve. So it's quite a awesome movement. And of course as you can see here, it's an exhibition case back, you can see right through. Also notice about the back that you see here is that you see you can have a quick change right here. You see where my thumb is pointing to? You can actually use a pin that's provided to remove the strap and change the bracelet to a leather bracelet or rubber bracelet as you see fit. Let's talk about the bracelet now. The bracelet is using this, it comes with a rubber strap so you can wear it in the water, as this is a diving watch. But it also comes with a black leather strap that, or it's a brown leather strap, I think you might be able to choose, actually, I'm sorry, it's black. So it's a black leather strap, okay? So I wanna try this watch on. If you like this video, you can check us out at JazTime.com. We offer a one-year warranty, free shipping, and a low price guarantee.
