Welcome to jaztime.com. Today we're gonna be reviewing the Panerai Radiomir, 1938 Pam 232. We're gonna talk to you about price, as well as where you can buy it at jaztime.com for the lowest price anywhere online. So let's jump right in. Pricing as of 2016, December, is roughly 5 to $6,000 pre-owned for this watch. Pre-owned because they don't make it anymore. They made 1,938, probably because it's called the Radiomir 1938. And production year was 2006. So what makes this watch special? Well, the first thing you'll notice here, is that the dial size, in relation to my hand, you can see is quite large. In fact from my thumb to my index finger, you're looking at about 47 millimeters, which is very large. Most of the Radiomirs are 44 millimeter, so this being 47 is quite large. Now, looking at, moving onto the dial, you'll notice that it uses a sandwich dial. And the sandwich dial, as you can see from here, means that the luminescent is below the dial, it's not painted on the dial. And the hands, as you might see here are actually gold. So it's quite a special dial, as well as quite a large size. And moving on to the case, you'll see, as I told you before, it's 47 millimeters, that's the diameter. And it uses this polished Radiomir case, as you see here. Now for the lug width, 'cause a lot of people like to change the size of their, or their straps, you're gonna use a 26 millimeter, which is bigger than most because most Panerai's are using 24 millimeters, but since this is 47 millimeter, it's gotta have a larger lug width, that means this strap needs to be 24 millimeters from my thumb to my index finger, also known as the lug width. 26 millimeters, hope I said that right. Now moving on to the movement. The movement is gonna be a caliber OP10, and it's actually a manual wind, it has a power reserve of 56 hours and 17 jewels. The base movement is the ETA 6497, and manual wind means that you take it out like this, unwind, and do this every day. Kind of a pain in the ass, but, I suppose if you have this much money, and you can buy one of these, then maybe you don't mind that pain in the ass. So again, just a recap, this watch is a Pam 232, can be purchased at JazTime for roughly $5,000 to $6,000 on the used market because they don't make it anymore. And I'm gonna try it on my wrist for you to take a look. There it is, the Pam 232, check us out at jaztime.com. We offer a free warranty, free shipping, and a low price guarantee.
