Introduced in 1969 and named after the legendary artist Leonardo da Vinci, the IWC Da Vinci collection represents something of... a break from the manufacturer's watch-making traditions, thanks to its avant-garde style. The original Da Vinci model was also notable for being one of the first IWC watches to be fitted with a quartz movement. Over the years, this particular line has often been home to some of the brand's most innovative ideas. In 1985, a Da Vinci model featured a perpetual calendar, complete with a unique four-digit year display, while a year later, IWC embraced ceramic case materials. Read more Show less
