Welcome to Jaztime.com. Today we are going to be reviewing the Cartier Santos Galbee, W20056D6. We're gonna go through some pricing, the dial, the bevel, the bracelet and the movement. And then tell you where you can buy it at Jaztie.com for the lowest price anywhere online. So let's start. As of 2016, December, the retail price on this is $4,600. You can buy it at around 20% off of list at Jaztime.com. Or we also have used ones for roughly $2,000 plus minus a few hundred. Now moving on to the dial, the first thing you'll notice is that it's a sqaure dial. This at the time was quite an invention. Louis Cartier and Alberto Santos Dumont, which was quite a famous Brazilian aviator, collaborted so that Dumont could have a watch that could tell time while he was flying. And this is the idea that they came up with. So it's quite iconic and almost everybody who sees this shape can see that immediately it's a Cartier Santos or at least it's a Cartier. The next is the bezel. You notice the bezel here is high polish and it has the screws that are protruding through. That's not very common. I don't know of many other watches other than perhaps AP and Hublot that do this. But they do it with a circular bezel and Cartier does it with a square bezel. So it's very unique. And moving on to the bracelet. You'll notice here that the bracelet is stainless steel but what do you notice about the screws. The screws are high polish where the bracelet is brush polish which makes it very difficult to polish if you end up scratching this watch. Now let's look at the buckle. Now the buckle here is a deployment. A double-deployment meaning that there's two sides to it. So this is how it looks when it's fully closed. And if you wanna open one side, you simply pop like that, pop the other side and the bracelet comes open. Now the movement is a quartz movement meaning it runs on battery. And you might be wondering why you put a battery run in such an expensive watch. And partly that's because this is a women's watch and women don't always wear their watches everyday so if they have a quart-running watch, anytime they pick it up it will always be telling the correct time. Unless, of course, it's been a couple years and the battery run out. So at any rate, to recap, this watch you can purchase at Jaztime.com used around $2,000 or brand new around 20% off of list. It retails for $4,600. So check us out at Jaztime.com. We offer a free warranty, low price, and a lot of other things. Thanks.
