Conor McGregor is by far the biggest name in mixed martial arts today, and while he may have been unsuccessful in his recent professional boxing debut against Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather, the two-weight UFC champion emerged from the contest as an even bigger mainstream superstar than he was before.
A huge part of McGregor’s box office appeal is derived from his over-the-top persona, controversial press conferences and flashy outfits. Indeed, the fighter puts a great emphasis on looking good and in addition to his smart suits and his designer sunglasses, the Irishman is known to have an extensive collection of luxury watches.
Despite having no formal relationship with the company, McGregor is especially fond of the Rolex brand. In this blog post, we take a look at some of the Rolex models McGregor is known to wear.
Rolex Day-Date President 228235 Green Dial Everose
The Day-Date is often viewed as one of the most prestigious Rolex collections and Conor McGregor is clearly a fan, as he is known to own at least three different versions. Perhaps the most notable of these is the 60th anniversary model in Everose gold with a green dial. McGregor is on record as saying this is his favorite watch.
Meanwhile, other models owned by the Irishman include a Day-Date 40 in platinum, which has a blue dial and diamond dial markers, as well as a slightly more understated Day-Date 40 in yellow gold, with a champagne dial.
Rolex Sky-Dweller 326938 Champagne 18ct Yellow Gold
Another Rolex collection Conor McGregor is known to have a particular fondness for is the Sky-Dweller range and once again, it is known that the mixed martial artist owns more than one model.
The first of these is a Reference 326935, with an Everose gold case and a “chocolate” brown dial. In an image posted on Instagram, McGregor dubbed this watch the “Galaxy Caramel”. Additionally, he owns another Sky-Dweller, which is constructed from yellow gold, has a gold colored dial, and is completed by a brown leather strap.

Aside from the models mentioned, which are among Conor McGregor’s favorite Rolex watches, he is also known to own several other timepieces from the brand. Amongst these are a yellow gold Rolex Daytona with a green dial and a yellow gold Daytona with a black dial.
However, one of the most recognizable of McGregor’s Rolex watches is a yellow gold Yacht-Master II, which was on his wrist during the Toronto phase of the press tour for his fight with Floyd Mayweather. The specific version he owns is a Reference 116688, with a blue ceramic bezel and a white dial.
Non-Rolex Models
Although Rolex is clearly the luxury watch brand of choice for the man nicknamed ‘Notorious’, he does also have a fondness for Patek Philippe and is believed to own two different Nautilus watches – a two-tone steel and rose gold model with a blue dial, and a full rose gold model with a black dial.
One of the notable things about McGregor’s collection is the appreciation for classic models, rather than ‘bling’ watches. Nevertheless, there are exceptions and he does own an extravagant, diamond bejeweled Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph, as well as similarly flashy models from Hublot and Franck Muller.
