Today, I'm gonna be reviewing the Rolex Datejust 41, reference 126334, white Roman, with Oyster bracelet. I'm gonna talk to you guys about the bezel, the dial, the caseback, and the case, the bracelet, try it on and give you my thoughts. So let's dive right in. This is a Datejust 41. So that means, it's actually 41-millimeter from my thumb to my index finger. That's the size of this case. All right, and it's using an Oyster case and Rolex calls it "Oystersteel" and white gold. Which part is white gold, is this fluted part. The fluted part is kinda like you see edges like this. It's a very distinctive part only really Rolex does it. It's one of the things that make their watches most notable and most distinctive. In fact, I was reading on their website. It says that this fluted bezel originally had the purpose of screwing and making this case watertight. Now, it's just aesthetics, as they have a better way to do it now, but that's where it came from and it's always in white gold. So they call this material, they say that the watch is Oystersteel and white gold. That is basically stainless steel being this case right here and the bezel being white gold, but they just say, "Okay, the whole material is steel and white gold." Okay, fine. They actually call it, "White Rolesor." Basically, steel and white gold. Okay, now I've already talked to you about the bezel and I've talked to you about the case. Let's talk about the movement. The movement here is a 3235. Now, you can't see it. It's housed inside this screw-down caseback that I'm pointing to here, all right? And it used to be before this model a 3135, which was in production for like 30 years. But now that they changed it, they changed it to a 3235, which is more precise, plus minus two seconds a day. And it has approximate 70-hour power reserve. All else is pretty much the same. Other than if you actually look at the 3235 movement and you put it side by side next to a 3135, which I have done many, many times, you can see that the 3235 looks updated, it looks a lot better, it is a lot better. Now, I can't show it to you here in this video, but yeah, it's underneath inside here. I guess if you wanna take my word for it, it does look a lot better. I think it's worth the extra money. You know, it's updated. It's what they're gonna probably use. I would assume for the next 20, 30 years, until technology gets even better. And I suppose at that time, they'll make a 3335. Okay, anyhow, let's move on to, what do we need to talk about next? The dial. Now, the dial here is white. Now, they make this configuration also in White Index. These are Roman numerals. Now, these Roman numerals, someone asked me it actually looked black. No, it's not black. It's just a reflection of light, because white gold being shiny, it can reflect. You see how I turn it left and right here, it changes like the color tone of it. Anyways, it's white gold. They also make this configuration in a White Index. The difference would be like white Roman, you can't really see it at night because it has no luminescence to it. Now, I'm gonna shine this light on it and you can see it doesn't do anything. Now, if you looked at my other videos and when I shine the light at a index style luminescence for obvious reasons, 'cause it's not luminescence and this one doesn't. So it depends, do you need to see your watch at night? Some of us don't even wear our watch at night, so it doesn't really matter. And some of us don't even wear the watch to tell time. So that also doesn't matter. It's up to you, though. All right, this one also has a date function on it as the name "Datejust" implies, okay? It has a water resistance of a hundred meters. And let's go ahead and talk about the bracelet. The bracelet is a Oyster flat three-piece link, Oystersteel, and has a folding Oysterclasp with Easylink, five-millimeter comfort extension. What does that all that mean? Well, it means that this is a Oyster bracelet. They also make it in Jubilee bracelet. If you asked me, the Oyster bracelet look a bit more manly, that's just my opinion. And it has a Polished Centre Link. As in, you see how it's kinda shiny at the center and brush on the outside? Yeah, that's what it has. And it being a Datejust, it has a folding Oysterclasp. As in, you don't have a folding Oyster safety. That's the difference between sports professional watches and these Datejust. You simply click on just like that and kaboom, it closes, and it looks seamless. I really liked that. I liked that the emblem here, the Rolex is raised on it, looks really awesome to me. I liked that the heaviness of the bracelet feels good and it also has a five-millimeter extension comfort link. So that means, like, when you're sweating in your office, working hard, making money to buy this Rolex, you can extend it five-millimeters so that your watch doesn't squeeze your hand. You wouldn't want that a Rolex squeezing your hand now, would you, right? So that's why you have this, Rolex has thought those things through. Okay, so boom! Now, you can squeeze it back on when you walk out and you're not stressed in your office. And now the watch fits perfectly well and you don't have to take it to the watchmaker. Nice touch by Rolex. Okay, anyways, so my thoughts are, I really liked the for, I really like the Datejust 41. I think it's an improvement over the old Datejust II, which is reference 116333, or 334, because the difference is the lugs. The lugs have been thinned. They looked thinner. They don't look as bulky as they did before. What else? The bezel. The bezel actually looks trimmed down and you would think, "Well, less gold is worse." No, actually that's not true. Less gold in this situation is better because they refined it. They made the edges look better. It looks more seamless to the case and it just looks more refined. It's like, you know, they just make their products look better over time and they figured out the better proportion. So I think this is a new evolution of it. And I liked that it uses the newer 3235 movement. I liked that. I like, I think that, Rolex should not be using the same movement that they used in 1970 as they do now or 1980 as they do now because things improve. They make better watches. All right, so those are my thoughts. I really liked the bracelet. I liked that they kept it this way. And if you liked this watch, please go to JazTime.com and buy it.
