Which is why I'm making this video, it's actually for the purposes of you buying it. So let's dive right in. Today I'm going to be reviewing the Rolex Datejust 41, reference 126331, chocolate diamond dial with Jubilee bracelet. I'm gonna go over the dial, the bezel, the case, the bracelet, movement, try it on and give you my thoughts. Let's dive right in. This is the Datejust 41. As the name implies it's 41 millimeters from my thumb to my index finger. It's the largest Datejust that Rolex makes. And it's a well-suited for mostly men, unless you're a woman that really likes to wear very large watches, this would be a man's watch. Okay. It's a 41 millimeter case, as I said. Rolex calls it a Everose Rolesor material, which is really a combination of stainless steel and Everose gold or pink gold, I guess, to put it in layman terms, it's rose gold and steel. But Rolex calls it Everose Rolesor because they want to give it a fancy name. The part that is steel is this case right here. As you see the part that is Everose or pink gold is the fluted bezel. All right, let's move on. Easy enough. And talk about the bezel. The bezel is using a fluted bezel. Now it used to have a waterproof component to it that would, that's the reason Rolex would make these fluted bezels, but that was a long time ago. Now it's just purely for aesthetic purposes and it does look very beautiful. In fact, it's a defining feature of the Rolex Datejust, this fluted bezel, which is made an 18 karat Everose gold. Okay. And I might add that this watch, since we're talking about Everose gold, also known as pink gold, or rose gold, Rolex makes their gold in their own gold foundries, which allows them to make their pink gold Everose as in forever, because it will last and stay this color forever. Most other companies or other companies will make Everose gold or pink gold, and it eventually will fade to yellow gold, but not Everose gold as in forever rose gold made by Rolex. Theirs will last like this forever, which has by the way, a bronze component to it, which is why some pink gold from other brands may tarnish over time, but not Everose gold. Let's move on now to the bracelet, okay. Now the bracelet is a jubilee five-piece link Everose Rolesor combination of oyster steel and 18 karat Everose gold and has a folding oyster clasp with easy five millimeter comfort extension. Okay. What does basically all that mean? It means that the bracelet center links are in rose gold, and the outer links right here are in brushed stainless steel, which makes it a combination of a rose gold and stainless steel. And it has a folding oyster clasp. You simply close it like such, and click on the, click, it closes. It has it a easy link five millimeter comfort extension, which just basically means you can make it five millimeters bigger by doing that, or closing it back up like such. So if you want to change the size of your watch, then you can do it by five millimeters. Now let's move on to the dial. I think this is a very special dial, which is why I saved it for last. And by the way, if you're thinking about buying this watch, please buy it jaztime.com, which is why I'm making this video. Please don't just watch our video and buy it from someone else. That's the whole purpose of us making this video on a Saturday afternoon while you're sitting at home watching. Okay. So let's talk about the dial. Now. I think the style is pretty special. I'm bringing it really close so you can see it's a chocolate dial, or a brown dial, and it has diamonds. So, you know, why do I think it's special? Well, you know, this being a rose gold watch, I really think that chocolate or brown really fits rose gold quite well. And that's probably why Rolex paired this chocolate dial, the brown dial with this material. They don't have chocolate on yellow gold, it would look kind of funny, but they have this chocolate dial with this Everose. I think the pairing is absolutely perfect. And if you look closely, or even if you don't look closely, you'll see that there are diamonds. I really like it because this is a dress watch, and diamonds make dress watches look even more amazing. The only zonk I can say against it is that if you shine a light at it, as you see, obviously there's no luminescent at night. So you can't see your watch at night. That's the only drawback of having diamonds. But I guess if you have diamonds in your watch, you don't really need to tell the time at night. Okay, that's what your cell phone is for. Now the watch, let's move on to the movement. The movement is housed in this model block, metal case, screw down case back with a winding crown. And as you can see, there's no movement, or at least you can not see the movement, but suffice it to say, there is one behind this screw-down case back, it's a caliber 3235 with a precision of plus minus two seconds a day, and a power reserve of 70 hours. And that is improved over this previous generation caliber 3135, which had a precision of, I believe, plus minus seven second, and a power reserve of 48 hours. So this one is improved over that. And if you've actually looked at it, it also looks pretty awesome. Okay. So I said I would try it on at the outset of this video. That's what it looks like and give you my thoughts. I want to say I'm a real fan of Datejust, I really like Datejust because one, the simplicity, they're iconic and they're thin. I like that they're thin, they're not super expensive, so they can be worn as a very classy, nice, beautiful watch. But at the same time, they're not going to completely, you know, bankrupt you, like if you buy some other brands, I mean, I suppose if you can call plus $10,000 watch not bankrupting you, I think, you know, you're doing pretty well. So as far as like the Datejust, I really liked this version, and I actually really like it on Jubilee. I think it gives it more flavor to it. So if you liked this video, please buy the watch, go to jaztime.com, J A Z T I M E .com.
