Hey, guys. Jaztime.com is an online stores that buys, sells, trades authentic luxury watches. We offer the lowest prices anywhere online, and if you want to know the price of the watch, simply click on the links in the description below. We'd really appreciate it if you would buy a watch from Jaztime.com once in a while. Today, we'll be reviewing the Rolex Datejust 36. This is the model number 126283. We'll be going over to the dial, bezel, case, crown, bracelet, clasp, and we'll talk about the movement towards the end of the video. So jumping right into the dial here, the dial configuration I currently have in my hand here is the white mother of pearl dial with diamond set hour markers. The diamonds set our markers are fashioned in 18 karat gold, as you can see from the yellow gold settings for the day. A typical Datejust structure. We have the Rolex crown logo at the 12 o'clock position. Underneath that, the Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust name right beneath that. And at the three o'clock position, we have the date window bordered by the 18 karat yellow gold, and also a cyclops lens on top of that sapphire crystal for magnification, easier viewing of that date there. Specifically for the white mother of pearl dial, it is a very beautiful dial. As you can see tilted against my light sources and my lightbox here, you can see it catches light in a very unique way, creating highlights in various areas while obviously being contrasted by darker shadowed areas. So this is just simply just from the light in my lightbox. You can kinda see it catch light in various ways. It's absolutely gorgeous. You can only imagine how it'd be if you were to step outside in the sunlight or to be sort of shining on this face of this watch. Not only will that mother of pearl be nicely highlighted, but also the diamond hour markers will catch the light, as well, giving it a nice glisten to the face of the watch. And it's surrounded by the 18 karat yellow gold bezel that's set with diamonds to give even more shine to the face of the watch, making this sort of a head turner, because it would just be absolutely gorgeous overall. But if mother of pearl is not to your taste, there's of course just the typical Datejust colors, so you can still get it in, for two-tone watches, anyways, you can get it for in a black or just a plain white. Champagne is also available, and I believe that there's a green dial available for this watch, as well. And it could be on diamonds or on index hour markers, as well, which are the stick hour markers with luminosity filling. Okay, so moving on to the bezel. Once again, I just wanna restate that the bezel is a 18 karat yellow gold bezels, and they are, it is set with diamonds all around the bezel. Okay, moving on to the case now. The case size is a 36 millimeter case. As I mentioned, this is a Datejust 36. So from my index finger to my thumb here, that's 36 millimeters in diameter. From the side profile of the watch, you can see it doesn't sit too high, will fit under suit coats, dress coats very nicely. So it's a nice, a slimmer profile. Nice high polish on the size of the case matching to the sides of the bracelet. Same thing on the other side, as well, nice high polish. And high polish on two of the sides of the bracelet. The crown itself is a yellow gold crown with the Rolex crown logo there. Two little dot indices underneath the crown logo states that this watch is a twin lock double waterproofness system. As we move on to the crown functions, let's simply unwind it counterclockwise as shown. In the standard position is where you can wind the watch. About 15 to 20 winds is all you need to get the watch started once more. Pulling the crown out to the next position will allow you to adjust the date quickly and instantaneously, and pulling the crown out to the final position will stop that seconds hand. As you see, I've stopped it at that two o'clock position, and you'll be able to adjust the hands bi-directionally and you'll be able to set the time very accurately, as it does stop the seconds hand, so you can set the time down to the exact second, such as to an atomic clock online. And then you just simply press the crown back in to start the seconds hand once more. Of course always make sure with any watch, really, make sure you screw your crown nice and tight in against the case. As for Rolex watches, this Datejust model in particular, you're looking at a water resistance of 100 meters or 330 feet when the crown is nice and tight against the case. Okay, moving on to the bracelet now. This is on a jubilee style bracelet, which is a five-piece style link bracelet, larger outer links in the stainless steel. This is a two-tone watch. As you can see, these center three links, the smaller links are in a nice high polish yellow gold. That patterning goes throughout the whole bracelet, so even on to the clasp, you can see it keeps that steel patterning on the sides. Nice 18 karat yellow gold down the center. And on the other side, as well, 18 karat yellow gold down the center, steel patterning on the outside. One thing to mention is the nice tapering from the first links all the way down to the clasp. You can see the nice proportions overall, keeping that sort of patterning throughout. So let me pull this watch back further back. You can see that tapering really helps keep that watch in a very nice proportion overall when it sits on your wrist. So moving back to the clasp now. The clasp is located, of course, on the back of the bracelet. It is a simple folding oyster clasp, and you just simply pull the top off like that, and there we are. The clasp blades with the Rolex name embossed on that high polish clasp blade there. Okay, so that's how it looks fully opened up from both sides. And then closing it down. This is just simple as just putting it back on top and snapping it in. All right so moving on to the movement now. The movement is housed in the simple oyster case backing that has a nice satin finish on the parts that sits on your wrist with a nice high paused bordering around the very outer edge of it. The movement itself is an updated movement. It is running the perpetual mechanical self-winding 3235 Rolex in-house made movement. It has a precision of minus two plus two seconds a day, which they boast about the six o'clock position on their dial here. This says superlative chronometer officially certified there at the six o'clock position. And also mentioning the update of the movement with the Swiss crown made. Previous iterations of the Datejust would just say Swiss made, but now they have added the little crown logo in between the Swiss made, indicating that this watch has an updated movement. Of course, the previous movement would've been the 3135, but now it's the 3235. So the difference between that is it will have a higher power reserve from the previous 48 hours. You're now looking at a 70-hour power reserve, meaning you could put this watch on on a Friday evening, pick it back up on a Sunday afternoon, and it'll be keeping time just fine. Additionally, it has the, with the change to the newer style movement is what Rolex is trying to do is they're trying to do more in-house made parts. So one of the things that they changed is a shock absorbers. So now they have their own in-house made shock absorbers called the paraflex shock absorbers switching over from the KIF shock absorbers. And they claim, or Rolex claims that it absorbs 50% more shocks than that industry standard of the KIF. Not only that, they've switched the escapement to their own escapement called a Chronergy escapement, which is a skeletonized escapement wheel made out of a nickel phosphorous that pairs with the paramagnetic blue parachrom hairspring in aiding against resistance against magnetism, as, of course, if your watch gets magnetized, it causes it to run erratically, and that's not good when you want to keep it within those precise time specs of the minus two plus two. And the skeletonization of the escapement wheel reduces the inertia so it helps keep that precise timekeeping, also helping with energy efficiency and other minor tweaks to get to that power reserve of the 70 hours. So now I'm gonna actually go ahead and show you this watch on my wrist. So we're gonna go ahead and open up this bracelet here, put that folding down, and there we are. Very simple, very easy to use, and there is the watch. Very beautiful mother of pearl. You can see it catching that light from my light sources and my lightbox here. You can see it catch the light just very uniquely. You can see it just sort of softly just all over the dial and also with the beautiful diamond bezel, as well. As I mentioned before, doesn't sit too high off the wrist. That Jubilee bracelet, nice tapering. That two-tone is looking absolutely gorgeous, as well. The contrast of the steel and gold really bring the best of both worlds out of each other.
