We'll be going over the dial, bezel, case, crown, bracelet, class. And we'll talk about the movement towards the end of the video. All right. So the dock configuration I currently have in my hand here, is the white index style. So white dial, nice flat white, with index hour markers, fashion 18 karat yellow gold, to prevent any tarnishing. And the same could be said about the hands as well. They're made out of 18 karat yellow gold, with luminous tippings on the edge of the hour and the minute hand, second time full 18 karat yellow gold. The luminous tipping matches with the luminosity of the index hour markers with a highly legible Chromalite display with long lasting blue luminescence, meaning that the watch will glow in the dark with a nice blue luminescence for easier reading at night. And of course just the index hour markers in general are easier to read during the day. Additionally, the index hour markers have been adjusted for this newer style Datejust 36 model, so a little bit larger and a little bit longer as well, so they're easier to read. Additionally, on the outer edge of the doubt, we have these little stick indices of a 60 second graduation. However, this is a newer style. The previous style used to have a railroad tracking of similar style. So now the outer edges are just small little stick indices. So a little bit decluttering of the dial there looks much easier to read now. Additional change. It was at the six o'clock position. We have the Swiss made at the six o'clock position, instead of having the NNC pointing at the 30 minute marker. We have the Rolex logo there replaced instead. Also mentioning that the movement has been updated as well, which we'll go over later on in the video, but just a typical Datejust architecture, which is, the roulette triangle at the 12 o'clock position in 18 karat yellow gold. The date went on the three o'clock position, with a Cyclops lens on top of that Sapphire crystal for magnification easier viewing of that date. And just the index hour markers. If you're into fond with the white coloration, the only other color the index hour markers come in, is the champagne dial. For the Roman numerals, you have a little bit more choices with white, silver, and olive green. And of course, for the most luxurious style, the diamond hour markers. You can get that in the black champagne or mother pearl. Now we're going to go ahead and move on to the bezel now. The bezel, very beautiful 18 karat yellow gold bezel. As you can see, as I turn it against the light, here the edge it's sort of captures and shimmers in different portions of that bezel, and that nice contrast of the darker shell with the lighter highlights really adds a nice viewing to the frontal facing of the watch, and really gives it a much more shine and much more eye-catching in conjunction with the dial. Moving on to the case now. The case is a 36 millimeter case. As I mentioned, this is the Datejust 36. We have nice high polishing on the lugs here, on the top and bottom portion of the lugs, matching very nice with the high polish on the bezel. 36 millimeters starts in my thumb here. That's 36 millimeters in diameter and from the side profile, nice high polish from the side profile matching with the high polish and the sides of the bracelet. One thing to mention is that they did tone down on the bezel and the case sizing similar to what happened with the Datejust 41 and Datejust 2, They decided to do that same upgrade to the Datejust 36. So slimming up of the case sizing and something of the bezel, so it has a nice proportion of view and doesn't sit too high of the wrist, and will fit under very nicely. Moving onto the other side you can see that same high polishing and then the Rolex crown logo and the crown itself. The crown is a screw-down Twinlock double waterproofness system that unwinds counterclockwise as shown. And the standard positions where you can wind you watch about 15, 20 wines is all you need to get started from a dead stop. Pulling crowds in the next position will actually allow you to adjust the date. Let me go ahead and move that hand out of the way. So you can see here very easy, very simple to use instantaneous changing of the date. And then pulling out to the final position will allow you to adjust the hands by directionally. The second time does stop for precise time setting, such as tune the time clock online, you can set it down to the exact seconds while pressing the crown back in. Those start the second time once more, always make sure to screw the crown nice and tight and against the case as this does keep the watch water resistant for 100 meters or 330 feet. We've got sort of bracelet now. We have the Jubilee style, Julius out bracelet, which is a five-piece link bracelet. And the center three piece links are nicely finished with a high polish, and made of yellow gold as well while being contrasted by the outer larger sizes links of sand and finish of the 904L steel. The class is now an oyster style class instead of the concealed foreign crown class, which the Jubilee pattern continues. It now replaced that with this oyster style class that you would just see on a regular oyster style bracelet. Opening that up, reveals this nice high polished class blaze with a Rolex name embossed on there. Nice little feature of the oyster class, And now that they've changed it from the concealed forwarding crown class is now you can adjust the Jubilee bracelet itself with the easy link. You can adjust that five millimeters forward or five millimeters backwards. So meaning on a hot summer, a hot summer day you can adjust to give a little more breathability to your wrist and vice versa in COVID days to stop it from shaking everywhere. You can tighten it up just a little bit. All right, so we'll go ahead and move on to the movement now. And the movement is an updated mood is the 30 -35 movement. Whereas the previous movie was the 31-35 movement when that movement was a tried and tested movement for over 10, 20 years with Rolex. Also using sports pieces, such as the submariner deep sea seed all there and such. But now we were running a 30 to 35 movement on those Datejust 36 as a precision of minus two plus two seconds a day as they boast about the six o'clock position here. is suppose if crony mural officially certified, meaning that it's within Swiss specs, and in additional testing that Rolex does themselves. We'll make sure it's within those tight specs. As to preparing show mechanical cell fighting movement in house made by Rolex. And the oscillator is a Paramagnetic Bleu Parachrome Hairspring, which has additional resistance against magnetism for the watch and the changes that they've done for them from the 31, 35 to the 30 to 35, is that the added the own in-house may shock absorbers called the pair flux shock absorbers. It's high-performer shock absorbers that Rolex absorbs to about 50% more shocks in the energy standard KIF shock absorbers. Additionally, the Chronergy escapement has been added in, which is a Rolex's in-house made escapement wheel, and it's made out of a nickel nickel phosphorous, and it is skeletonized for reduction in over inertia. The reduction of inertia helps with the energy efficiency and also helps with precise timekeeping with the energy efficiency, however, we also upgrade the power reserve as well. The previous powers of other day just 36 was a 48 hour power reserve. Now is a 70 hour power reserve. And that nickel phosphorous that the escapement is made out of helps with the reduction of magnetism as well. So pairs very nicely with that pair of McNair bleu pair Chrome hairspring. So let me actually go ahead and show you this watch on my wrist now. So this is going to be able to fit my wrist very nicely. This is seven and a half inch standard, as a Datejust 36 line actually used to be the starting point for men at 36, but as men and women got larger and larger, we now have, you know, submariners at 40 millimeters, and women have moved from the 30 from the, you know, the 20s to 31 to the 36s now. But you can see it fits very nicely, very beautiful high polish on that yellow gold at two-tone looking very good, very, very nice. Fluted bezel doing wonders on the lighting there, and nice white just flat white dial really helps with the accent and the yellow gold on the index hour markers as well. Looking very, very nice and pops very nicely.
