Today I'm gonna be reviewing the Patek Philippe Nautilus, reference 5711G White Gold with a gray dial. I'm gonna talk to you guys about the bezel, the dial, the case, the bracelet, try it on and give you my thoughts. So let's dive right in. Now, this watch, it says it's a 40.5 and I used my calipers to measure it from my thumb to my index finger, not from the 3 o'clock to 9 o'clock 'cause that actually measured 42 millimeters. When I measured it from this 7 o'clock to 2 o'clock, it measured 40.5 exactly using my calipers. This case is made of white gold. And I know so because well, the paper says so but also because it has these engravings right here where I'm trying to point to, where you see my index finger. It has some excellent, and those hallmarks are hallmarks of what white gold would have, as opposed to a stainless steel. So if you look at these edges right three where my finger's pointing at each four corners, there's hallmarks. And this is a white gold watch, which is a little bit, it has a grayer look than a stainless steel watch, okay? Now let's move on to the dial. They only make this dial configuration with a gray. Now, I really think it's quite a cool dial and if you look at the watch, it's not actually circular, even though it looks circular. If you look at the crystal, you see how the crystal, it's not actually completely circular. It has edges to it, which is very unique. And obviously, you look at this circle, it's not a square, it's not a circle. It has like edges to it. If I had to count it, I'd probably say there's probably something along the lines of 16 edges to it or something like that, okay? So that's also a very interesting case. And let's take a look at the luminescence of this watch. So this is what it would look like at night. Also very legibile. It has a date at the 3 o'clock position and it works just like any other watch. Unscrew, it has a quick set and it's very legible at night. So I like that. Sporty, yet it has gold on it. Now, let's talk about the movement here. Now, I had the fortune of looking at the movement with my loop earlier and it really looks spectacular. There's a reason why people pay so much money for a watch like this because well, it's really awesome. It's done very well. Now, if you look at the rotor, if you actually look at it, it's actually chiseled perfectly and edged, I really couldn't describe it. I was going to say it's a work of art when I looked at it with my loop. Now, this movement is 320/390. When I looked at the movement, it says caliber, I think it should be a 26-330. But here, it actually says 324/390. Oh okay, yeah. I'm looking at the papers, by the way, and it says the papers here are caliber 324 S C IG. Okay? All right, anyhow. Actually, I think that 364 is a okay, nevermind. Anyhow, okay, so caliber 324. Okay? Now it comes on this leather band, and it has this deployment buckle. And actually, the deployment buckle is also white gold. How do you know? It has these hallmarks right here, okay? It closes like this and such and interestingly, it has actually a screw right here, which most watches don't have a screw on the back where you adjust the size. You punch it through the hole but I guess this makes it so it won't fall out. It makes sense, you don't really want your gold $40,000 watch falling off your hand, so you have a crew right here. And you put it over the top. Okay, they don't actually make this watch anymore. They don't make it in this configuration that is. They don't make it in white gold. They make it in stainless steel. They make it in yellow gold. They just don't make this particular one. So making this one more rare, more interesting and very, very cool. So if you like this watch, you might be able to still buy it at JazTime.com. If we don't have this exact one, we have other Nautiluses that are very similar. Simply click on the link in the description below. I hope you like this video and if you do, please buy a watch from JazTime. Thank you.
