Welcome to JazTime.com, today we're gonna be reviewing the Panerai Luminor Marina PAM279 titanium, 44 millimeter. Gonna talk to you about price and where you can buy it at JazTime.com for the lowest price. So let's start, as of 2016 December, you can purchase it at JazTime.com pre-owned because they don't make this model anymore for roughly five to $6,000. And let's talk about the dial now. When looking at this dial you might actually think it's black, but in fact it's brown. So I've tried turning it so you can see. And you'll notice it's yeah, it's actually like a tobacco brown. Now Panerai commonly does this when they have, when they're using titanium. Now looking at it in this video it might be difficult to see, but do you notice that the titanium has somewhat of a darker finish to it than the steel? And you obviously can't tell, but when I'm holding it in my hand I can feel that it's very light, titanium being stronger and also lighter than steel. And also darker. And less likely to be damaged. Okay so moving on to the bezel, the bezel of course is in titanium because the rest of the watch is in titanium. And the case size going from my thumb to my index finger, the diameter not including the crown, is 44 millimeter and that's one of the standard sizes for Panerai. Now moving on to the bracelet, now it uses this older style half moon bracelet and that's because the production year on this watch was 2007/2008, it wasn't in production very long. So you know that's why. And you'll notice that it has, when they say half moon it means a half circle, it's actually a two piece bracelet and if you look on the back you can kinda see why. It's two pieces like put together. And the bracelet itself is also titanium. Why they discontinued and they changed it to like a flatter piece, they changed the bracelet to a flatter, I really don't know, but you know that's what it is. So now the bracelet is quite nice, or the buckle is quite nice because when it closes it actually looks hidden, you can't tell. It's a double deployment. You simply press in the middle and it pops right open. Okay, now the movement is gonna be a caliber OP3 and I believe it should just be a atom movement and this was a very common workhorse movement that Panerai used for years and years and years until they switched over to the in house movement which occurred somewhere around 2012.
