A LANGE & SOHNE WATCHES

A. Lange & Söhne is luxury watch manufacturer based out of Glashütte, Germany. Originally founded in 1845, the company went out of business in 1948, following the end of the Second World War, but was relaunched in 1990 and currently operates as a subsidiary of the Swiss company, Richemont. The brand is known for creating timepieces which are austere in their appearance, with Swiss-style mechanical movements, while the most common case materials are yellow gold, white gold, rose gold and platinum. Perhaps the most famous A. Lange & Söhne watch model is the Lange 1, which features three dials in an asymmetric layout, including a separate seconds hand dial.
