The 'sundust' dial is an alternative to the chocolate dial and, much like with that colour, it is only available on two-tone Datejust 41 models that combine stainless steel with rose gold. The colour itself is difficult to accurately describe, but looks a bit like a red/pink metallic that corresponds with the everose gold color. Since the Datejust 41 is a mens watch, Rolex probably does not want to use the word "pink". Sundust sounds much more exclusive but it also looks very luxurious. As a result, this dial colour is a good choice for buyers looking for a more unique look. Visually, it is similar to the colour of the rose gold on the bezel and bracelet, which gives it a uniformed appearance. However, it is a paler colour than the chocolate dial, providing a less obvious contrast with the dial markers and hands. Especially with a fluted rose gold bezel the sundust dial has the best effect. For an even more luxurious look one can choose diamond hour markers.
