Hey guys this is Kevin from JazTime.com and today we'll be reviewing the Rolex Sky-Dweller reference number 326933. We'll be going over the price, the dial, bezel, crown, case, bracelet, clasp and we'll talk about the movement towards the end of the video. Okay so as of December 2017 if you can find this, you can get this from an authorized Rolex retailer for $17,150 plus tax. And as this watch was recently released at the Baselworld 2017 show this watch is very hard to get. So we're looking at our JazTime pricing of $17,494 as of December 2017. Of course that is always subject to change as a market value does change. Okay so lets go ahead and talk about the dial now. So the dial configuration we currently have here is the champaign dial with index hour markers. The Sky-Dweller only comes in index hour markers which are hour markers fashioned in 18 karat yellow gold and have this sort of white filling which is a highly legible Chromalight display. It's a long lasting blue luminescence so that helps with readability at night. You'll be able real see the and the index hour markers at night as they'll be glowing in a dark and in a blue luminescence, okay. Besides that we have to date one at the three o'clock position with a cyclops lens on top of that sapphire crystal for magnification easier viewing of the date. The hands the hands of the watch, the hour and the minute hand also have luminous tips however the middle portions middle to the beginning portions of the hands are skeletonized and that's for allowing viewability of the off center 24 hour dual time zone wheel as you can see. One thing to mention also is at the very edges of each hour marker you kind of see these little square white apicultures at each one. At the eleven o'clock position you can see one filled in and that you're sort of a red coloring and that's because this watch is also an annual calendar. So this would be tracking the month of November. And I'll show you how to adjust all of those things when we move on to the crown okay. So if you're not really interested in the champaign coloring, the two other colors that the Sky-Dweller comes in is also black and white okay. So lets go ahead and move on to the bezel now. So the bezel is a fluted bezel. It's fluted 18 karat yellow gold bezel and it's a bidirectional rotatable Rolex ring command bezel and that's as I'll show you. As you can see moves left and right. And that's actually a unique thing specifically for the Sky-Dweller and the Yacht-Master Yacht-Master II which is the 116 116680 and the exact functions of the Rolex ring command bezel should go ahead and demonstrate that to you now. So with the crown the crown is a screw down twin lock double waterproof system. Simply unwinds counterclockwise as shown. And this current position you can actually wind the watch from a dead stop 15 to 20 clockwise turns is all you need to get the watch started once more. Pulling it to the next function as you can see right now there is no function. It doesn't do anything, it doesn't even make a noise. And this is the standard position of a ring bezel which is all the way to the right As you can see I can't turn it anymore to the right. So once we take it once to the left that will allow you to adjust the date at the three o'clock position instantaneously. And in both directions as well. As you can see going clockwise brings us back. Going counterclockwise brings us forward. And one thing to mention, I did say this is an annual calendar. I'll actually go ahead and demonstrate that now. So keep your eye on that red square at the eleven o'clock position as we track over the 31st. There we go it moves on to the top and that is and that is December, okay. And show you going backwards so see it's already jumped back to that November and going back once more three two one bam there we are now we're back a month before okay. Nice little feature to have. Moving the command ring bezel once more to the left will allow for the quick hour jump system. And this is what is used to help you track two different time zones. So with the 24 hour the 24 hour off center dual time zone dial you actually have to turn the bezel once more and lets go ahead and try to adjust it and show you how that would work. So lets just say it's ten o'clock London time right or ten o'clock PM London time right now. So as you can see lets do 10 10 okay. So it's 10:10 London time right now As you can see the second hour second time zone is tracked there. So we would know that it is PM 10 minutes past and then lets say we wanted to track the time of the Philippines which is seven hours ahead of London. So all we would have to do is move that command ring bezel once more to quick hour jump hand as you can see. The hour hand moves independently of the minute and the seconds hand. The seconds hand will still be keeping time. And seven hours ahead of that PM time would be pm so we can just go ahead and move the hour those hours the hour hand to the five pm okay. So now we have the London time located on the subdial at the PM PM 10 minutes and then now we have we're tracking London time are Philippines time which we were assuming we were at currently which would be 5:10am So that's how you would track dual time zones with the Sky-Dweller. Besides that moving it back to the final functions of the ring command bezel. So moving the bezel all the way to the left and the final position will allow you to adjust from the minute hand. As you can see it also will adjust the off center dial as well and also stops the second hand for precise time setting as well. So you can match that to an atomic clock online can match the time down to the exact seconds okay. Of course pushing the crown back in will start that seconds hands once more. We'll go ahead and move that ring command bezel all the way to the end so it has no functions so we can't mess with the time. Press the crown back in. Screw it down nice and tight against the case as it will keep this watch water resistant for 100 meters or 330 feet. Alright lets go head and talk about the case now. The Sky-Dweller is more of a dress watch so we have this beautiful high polished 18 karat yellow gold bezel. And not only do we have the high polished high polished lugs as well to match to that contrasting yellow gold as well. So you can see the top lugs nice and shiny as is been high polish and the bottom lugs the same situation. Nice and shiny because it's been high polished. On the side of the case you can see we can see a nice high polish on the side of the case matching very nicely with the sides of the bracelet as well to keep nice uniform pattern. The thickness of the watch a little bit thicker than a typical Rolex watches but will fit under suit cuffs dress cuffs very nicely. That thickness is because of the movement itself because it has all these minute different sorts of functions with the bezel. The movement is much larger to compensate for all those functions but as you can see still very nice on the other side of the case as well. Nice high polish, the Rolex crown logo on the crown itself and the crown is that 18 karat yellow gold. Moving on to the bracelet now. Bracelet nice always their bracelet. As I said this is more of a dress watch so we have a nice beautiful 18 karat yellow gold straight down the center of the 30 piece oyster links nicely high polished as you can see pattern through patterning throughout the bracelet all the way through even matching with the clasp as well the contrasting brushed steel or satin finished steel on opposite sides of that gold making a nice juxtaposition bringing more color out of that gold. The clasp is just a very simple oyster clasp as shown opening up to reveal a high polished clasp blade with a Rolex name emboss on the blade itself. The clasp functions holding at a 45 degree angle pops the bracelet out a little bit and allows you to adjust the bracelet inwards and outwards mm and you can see it can be adjusted by these little pins by the edge of the bracelet. And the adjustment of the mm forwards hours allows for more of a quality of life feature allowing your wrist to have more breathing room on hot summer days when your wrist swells up and if icefor colder days. Okay so lets go ahead and move on to the movement now. The movement is housed in this very nice oyster case backing. It is Rolex's perpetual mechanical self winding dual time zone movement and annual calendar movement. It's caliber is 9001 movement with the functions of the center are a minute and seconds hand. With precise with a 24 hour display on the off center disk second time zone instantaneous changing of the date and the annual calendar and that rapid setting of it. The month display via the 12 apicultures around the circumference once again the annual calendar and stopping the seconds hand for precise time setting. As I've shown you what the crown what the crown functions at the final command ring command bezel position. And allows for precise time setting okay. So the oscillator the oscillator in this watch has a paramagnetic blue para comb harris spring which adds additional resistance against magnetism and then also has a high performance para flex shock absorbers which is an in house made Rolex shock absorbers which Rolex claims to have absorb 50% more shocks than the industry standard like industry standard KIF shock absorbers. The powers of this watch, you're looking at a whopping 72 hours so that means you can put this watch down Friday evening pick it back up on a Monday afternoon and it should be keeping time just fine. Let me actually go ahead and show you the champaign Sky-Dweller on my wrist. Again oyster folding oyster opens up nicely. There it is. So here's how the watch looks underneath the wrist. Nice patterning of that two tone. And here is the watch on my wrist okay.
