Today, I'm going to be reviewing the Rolex Datejust 28, reference 2-7-9-1-7-3, White Roman, on Jubilee Bracelet. And I'll talk to you guys about the case, the bezel, the dial, the bracelet, try it on, and give you my thoughts. Here we go. It's a Oyster case, 28 millimeters. That means from my thumb to my index finger. It's currently the smallest Datejust that Rolex makes, so it's perfect for ladies that like to wear small watches. Now, Rolex used to make this Datejust in a 26 millimeter, but they've since made it larger, as ah, at least as of... 2018, they made it larger to 28 millimeters. And I think that helps because it made the dial less, like squished together. And if you look at this dial, the proportions on it are absolutely perfect. You can easily read each number, and it, and it's not hard to read at all, yet it remains small for those women who do not have a very big wrist. This would be the exact watch that you could buy. In fact, it's the only Datejust that you could buy in the, it's the only size that you can buy in ladies' Datejust that is this small. They don't make a smaller size than 28 millimeter. Now the case itself is made out of a monoblock middle case with a screw-down case back and winding crown. That means the case, this part that my thumb is going over, is made of stainless steel. Now it has a screw-down case back, which I'm going to show you that houses the movement inside. That's this thing right here, and that's also made of steel. Now, Rolex calls the material of this watch Yellow Rolesor, which is a combination of stainless steel and 18 carat yellow gold. So which part is steel? Well, it's the part that you obviously see right here. And which part is gold? Well, that's the gold part going around, which is the bezel, the crown, and the central links of the bracelet, which gives it a combination of yellow gold and steel. Makes sense? Now let's move on to the bezel. The bezel has a fluted bezel. Now it used to be that this fluted bezel was for water keeping, but now at least... they've, they've changed that so that this white, this fluted bezel, or cerated bezel, or edged bezel is... for looks, and actually it's the most iconic part of Rolex. So anybody looking at this fluted bezel will instantly recognize that this is a Rolex. Now, if you like that, then obviously this would be the watch for you. If you don't, they also make it in a domed bezel, which means it's, it's uh, it's flat. Instead of having these serrated edges, it's flat. Since we're already there, the movement is housed inside this thing right here, which is the case, and has a screw-down case back, it's a automatic movement, which means you don't need a battery, and you don't need to wind it. It is automatic so long as you keep it on your wrist, or it has movement within a 55-hour timeframe. Cause it has a power reserve of 55 hours, and it has a caliber 2-2-3-6, which is a updated movement. And has a precision of plus-minus two seconds a day, basically, ladies, you need to know that this is an automatic movement and that it's really awesome. Let's move onto the bracelet. The bracelet is a Jubilee Bracelet. It also comes in a Oyster. This one in particular, as you see it here is Jubilee. That, what does that mean? It's five piece link across 1, 2, 3, 4, and then... the last one, five. Okay. It's made of yellow gold and stainless steel. Yellow gold obviously down the center, and steel down the side. Now, here's another cool part I want to show you, it has a concealed folding crown clasp. What does that mean? Well, you close it like such, and ka-pow! That's it! It closes... and it's concealed. Not bad, right? Okay, well the bad thing is that you can't have an adjustable... you know, it doesn't have a five millimeter comfort extension, like some, some other watches. Okay, well, anyhow, I've finished that review. I told you I would try this on and give you my thoughts. I am a man, so it's going to barely fit. Although a very handsome man and very smart man, and charismatic as well. But, man nonetheless. So this is what it looks like on my wrist.
