We offer the lowest prices anywhere online and if you want to know the price of the watch, simply click on the links in the description below. If you enjoy our videos we would greatly appreciate it if you would buy a watch from JazTime.com once in a while. So today we're gonna be doing a quick review on a Deepsea. This is the older style model, the 1-1-6-6-6-0 is the model number. But more specifically we'll be just going doing a quick overview on the PVD DLC coating and going over what, in regards to what that is. Now if you're interested in the specific specifications of the Deepsea, we do have it's own stand-alone video you can view on our Youtube channel, that will go into in-depth details about the sort of mechanics behind the Deepsea and just the overall specifications. This video that we're doing here is just for the PVD DLC coating. So let's go ahead and start by looking, starting with the dial. The dial remains fairly untouched. We still have the 18 karat white gold fashioned around the luminescent hour marker and the maxi dial. You can still see the luminosity's still visible by this sort of white coloring on each hour marker. Even on the triangular 12, index nine and six o'clock positions. The other Deepseas that we've done before the lum has been covered by a matte black, so that's also available if you're interested in that. Specifically the only thing that has been changed on the dial, when doing the PVD DLC, is the seconds hand. The seconds hand, as you can see, is a nice, coated, red seconds hand. And that's paired in conjunction with the, sort of, the ring lock system around the outer edge of the dial. You can see that the text, instead of white, has now been changed to the red text. You can see original gas escape valve there, ring lock system, the bottom six o'clock position. And also the ring itself has been coated in that PVD DLC coating. So before I move onto the other parts of the watch, so what is exactly a PVD, PVD or a DLC coating? So the PVD is a Physical Vapor Deposition. Which it vaporizes different metals and then sort of binds it to the surface of the wash in small, thin layers, which gives it this very beautiful black coating around the whole watch. You can see even on the high polish it shines very beautifully on the sides. The matte finish on the top and bottom portions of the lugs just look absolutely gorgeous. Even the crown itself at the three o'clock position there. Even on the ridges, on the bezel, the ceramic bezel you can see that it has that nice coating as well. So PVD specifically refers to that method of getting this, sort of, beautiful black, matte black coloring on the whole watch. Specifically for this watch that I have in my hand, what we've done is we've done the PVD DLC coating. DLC standing for Diamond Like Carbon. So you have the standard which is the PVD and then the more, sort of upscale version of that is the PVD DLC. DLC, like I said, the DLC stands for Diamond Like Carbon. It's similar to the process of the PVD but instead of spraying the different assortment of metals to get this nice black look, what they use is a high energy precursive carbon that is rapidly cooled down. So it's heated at very, very high temps, and then sprayed onto the watch at a very high temperature, and then is rapidly cooled down on the surface. Which is sort of similar to how synthetic diamonds are made. But that DLC, that carbon adds durability to the watch itself, so it makes it very scratch resistant. As I mentioned, it is sort of similar to the synthetic diamonds you have that sort of nice hardiness to the watch now, so it adds more durability, makes it very scratch resistant, Because of that DLC material that gets heated and sprayed onto the watch. So once again I'll just go over very briefly here. So you can see the case of the lugs, the side, except for the helium escape valve, this is this portion right here, that's a specific feature of the Deepsea. So that's left untouched. On the sides of the bezel you can see that DLC coating all throughout. And then on the other side, you can see the crown itself. Very beautifully coated along with the high polish. You can see the high polish on the sides of the case. The high polish on the bracelet as well. Very nice and shiny. Moving to the oyster style bracelet is a sport's style bracelet. Specifically for sports, it's gonna be a matte all the way throughout. You see that beautiful coating just throughout the whole watch. Very, very unique style. If you're interested in sort of changing it up, you're not feeling it with just these standard, the standard stainless steel look, you want something a little bit more, something unique that pops. You can see the nice high polish all around from the side of the clasp, the bracelet, and the side of the case. I'm gonna open up the folding oyster clasp here for you guys. Look at that. Absolutely gorgeous. Specifically for this portion of the clasp, this is a older style Deepsea, specifically the one I have in my hand here is a G serial, so around like 2010, which has these standard sandblast clasp here. Can see instead of the high polish down the center we have a sandblasted, or bead blasted clasp. And it just looks absolutely gorgeous being coated in the PVD DLC process. And you can see a nice high polish to border that, just looks absolutely gorgeous. Let me show you the back. Process works throughout the whole watch. And you open up the, clasp here, as it does have the glide-lock feature. See? Alright, now let me show you this watch on my wrist now. So if you're interested, it's doing something a little bit unique, a little bit more unique to your watch. You can check us out here at JazTime. We have the link directly to this watch in the description below. You'll also be able to find other DLC PVDs that we've done previously. We actually have another video of this same watch, but in a, sort of, yellow and black PVD as well. Take a look at that. See if that gauges your interest. But very, very, very unique style. Just looks absolutely gorgeous. So if you're interested in this watch or any other watch for lowest possible price, check on our website on JazTime.com we have the lowest prices, guaranteed.
