Released in 2005, the Breitling Evolution marked the next stage in the continued development of the brand's Chronomat line. Designed to accommodate the needs of military flight teams, but with the sophistication to be worn with evening wear, the timepieces in this collection are both versatile and functional. Aesthetically, the watches are constructed from stainless steel and have 40mm case diameters. All models are water resistant for 300m and the most expensive model has a diamond bejewelled, unidirectional rotating bezel. Other features include a tachymetre for calculating speed, a date display window, and 60-second, 30-minute and 12-hour sub-dials.
