Welcome to Jaztime. I'm Madison, and today I have a 126331 Oyster Perpetual Datejust 41 with a Sundust dial. Index markers, this is rose gold stainless steel on Jubilee. Now this is a stainless steel case, an 18-carat Everose pink gold, and this is a wonderful example of the new Rolex 41 millimeter Datejusts that were unveiled by Rolex at the beginning of 2016. This watch has an Oyster 41 millimeter stainless steel case. It's a screw-down case back. 41 millimeters, that's the diameter between my two thumbs here. And it has an 18-carat pink gold winding crown. There's also 18-carat pink gold on this fluted bezel that shines so brilliantly reflecting the light as you move it around. It has a, that winding crown over here in the pink gold, that's a screwed-down winding crown with a Twinlock double waterproofness system, which means that this watch is going to be water-resistant to 100 meters. But if you are gonna take this watch in the water, be it the shower or swimming, you do wanna make sure that this is nice and tight before you hop in. Now this watch was updated with a 3225-calibre mechanical self-winding movement with 70 hours power reserve. So that means you can wind the watch mechanically, but it also generates power by just the movement on your wrist or your arm and it's gonna keep running for 70 hours even after you take it off. If we take a look at the bracelet, that's also a new feature that came back on these Datejust 41s, and that's the Jubilee band. So we have the five-piece links. We have brush-polished stainless steel on the outer links with the 18-carat rose gold in a high mirror polish down the center. And for the deployment here, we have not the concealed folding Crownclasp that we're used to seeing, but we have the folding Oysterclasp with the Easylink five millimeter comfort extension link that allows for the adjustments to be made depending on, you know, if it gets warmer and your wrist gets a little swollen, you need to adjust it or vice versa, you make those adjustments yourself, which is always nice. And now we take a look at this beautiful dial. It's a Sundust dial. Underneath the scratch-resistant sapphire, we have the date wheel at the three o'clock position here. And as usual, we have that Cylops magnifying eye that magnifies by 2 1/2 times for easier readability. And we have the center hands, the minute and the hour hands, have thinly applied strips of luminous paint that along with the hour markers and on this dial, these are index markers, these thin bars also that have this luminous paint applied to them that sort of glows in the dark. And what's very cool about this watch is that in 2016, these watches got an overhaul with the kind of lume, and Rolex calls it Chromalight. It's a long-lasting blue luminescence instead of the green hue you might be used to seeing. And it's even more legible so you can read your watch in the dark.
