Welcome to Jaztime. Today we're gonna be reviewing a Rolex HS 116234, silver, diamond dial on jubilee bracelet, and it goes through an unboxing, show you what it comes with and a little bit about the watch. So here's the watch, itself. It also comes generally, with a hang-tags, these hang-tags you see here. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. It helps the dealer identify the watch. The warranty card looks like this, kind of like a credit card. It comes with this service manual, and also an instruction booklet on how to use the watch that you can look off on the website. So the watch, itself, as you can see here is gonna be 36 millimeters. What that means is, it's from my thumb to my index finger, that distance is 36 millimeters. You'll also notice here that it has a diamond dial, and that's those hour markers that you see my thumb going around. The one through 11 had diamond hour markers. This is a factory diamond dial, meaning these dials are perfectly cut, D color, and they're original from Rolex. You'll also notice that it has these white gold hands. The hands that you see where my thumb is pointing to, that's actually made of white gold. Now you also notice here that it has a jubilee band. Now this is a traditional five-link across jubilee band, that's iconic for Rolex. This is also what's called the concealed crown clasp. It's concealed because you can't see it, and it has the crown, and it's a clasp. Now, when I pull on it, it'll pop open like that and that's the concealed crown clasp. That's a new addition and that started in 2006. Okay, so the back, of course, as you see, is not an exhibition, it's a solid case back. All Rolexes are like that, and it has also what's called the Supercase, meaning it has these rounded edges here, as opposed to the older version of this which is a 16234, which has sharp edges, and by edges I mean where my thumb is pointing to here. Okay, I want also to point out a few other things, such as the dial. Now this is a factory diamond dial, and I'm gonna let you compare that to what a factory dial without diamonds look like on your right. And you'll notice here, that the dial, itself, doesn't have diamonds on it, and how much more plain it looks. So when I place it over, it looks like that. I also bring your attention to how it looks against a after-market dial. So the one you see on the right-hand side is a after-market dial. It's kind of tough to see what the big difference is here, but if you loop it you can see a difference. The one on the right is after-market. The one on the left is original. And also, I'll bring your attention to what the bezel, the bezel is what my finger is going around here. It's fluted, it's made of white gold, and sometimes people like to take that off and put diamonds on it, and when you take it off, the bezel actually just looks like this. It pops right off and we place a diamond on it. At any rate, if you like this video, click on the subscribe button below.
