Hey guys, this is Kevin from JazTime.com. Today I have for you the Rolex Explorer II. The model number for this watch is 216570. So, before we start, I'll be letting you know we'll be doing an un-boxing, reviewing of the case, I'll show you how to adjust the time, and we'll also go over the bracelet, and I'll let you know where you can find this watch for the lowest possible price. Okay, so when buying this watch brand-new, you, of course, get the watch. It'll have red stickers on it as that's Rolex's trademark to let you know that this is a brand-new watch. It's located on the southern position of the bracelet, here, also inside the clasp, here, and also one inside the bracelet, here. An additional sticker will be located on the case backing, right there, in the green. Okay, along with this watch, you'll get a booklet of information. Right here, it'll also have the warranty card, which is right here. Booklets of information located inside, and that will be all located inside the box. Okay, so let's move on to the star of the show. The Explorer II, look at that. As you can see, very beautiful white dial. Definitely makes those luminescent hour markers and index markers really pop against that dial. Additionally, you can also that there's a green, not green rather orange hand, here, it's a GMT hand, and I'll explain to you how that works in a second. The case size of this watch is 42 millimeters in diameter. The date is located at the three o'clock position with a Cyclops lens, as you can see there, for easier viewing. And, I'll go ahead and show you how this GMT hand works. So, when working with the crown, always counterclockwise is how you open a crown. This first position is the standard position, or the first position, that lets you wind the watch. Only 20 winds clockwise is all that's needed to wind the watch to keep it running. Anymore, and you might damage the watch, itself. Another tug let's you adjust the hour hand, and this is called the quick hour jump, and it let's you, of course, as you can see there, jump to each hour. And give me one second, I want to move this minute hand out of the way. Okay, so that let's you jump to each hour. Unfortunately, because this feature's in place, there is no quickset date feature, and you do have to go around the dial clockwise, twice, in order to move the date just once. Not that bad, but it is quite satisfying to have that quickset date feature. Okay, so an additional tug puts the crown at the final position. This stops the hack movement, which is the movement of this hand, right here, the seconds hand. As you can see if I were to put it back in, second hand starts. All the way to the final position, seconds hand stop. So, the GMT hand, right here, located in the orange, as I said before. So, let's just say if you wanted to track the time of, let's say, London to Spain. Let's just say, it's 12 o'clock, midnight, at Spain right now, or in London right now, and Spain was an hour ahead. You would just have to move the orange hand across to this dot, here, that indicates the hour. So, you're tracking Spain's hourly time now. Now, let's just say you wanted to go from London to the Philippines, for whatever reason. London to the Philippines is seven hours ahead. So, you would just have to adjust the hand all the way down to the seven hour point, which is right there. And you can just go ahead and press that in, and then adjust the hour to wherever else you need it, or the time it is now, and you're all set for that. So, pretty neat feature. Let me go ahead and fix this up a little bit. All right, so always make sure you screw the crown nice and snug against the case. This keeps the watch water-resistant up to 100 meters, or 330 feet. And, it's just very important you do that because you don't want any of the water to get into your watch and then damage the watch. Okay, so let's move on. The case back, as you can see, is very, as Rolex likes to do, very simple, very nice. It's just the Oystercase back with the fluted on the edges, as you can see, all the way around, there. The movement of this watch is mechanical self-winding, and it also uses Rolex's 3187 movement. You can find out more about that on Rolex's website. Moving on to the bracelet. As you can see there, it's a very, very beautiful bracelet, has a nice satin finish to it as opposed to the other regular GMTs that have the mirror inter-polish like located in the center, here, and it has a very nice shine to it. I mean, that shine does come at a cost, though, because if you do get those mirror polish shine scuffed up, it is very noticeable, as opposed to this fully satin finish steel, here. If you were to get this scuffed up, it definitely would hide those scuffs very well. So, it's a very durable watch as it is made with the 904L steel. All right, so let's go ahead and move on to the clasp. This is the clasp. It's a very, very nice safety Oyster clasp. What that means is, this is the safety lock, right here, which folds on top of the Oyster, which is here. So, if you were to close that, Oyster down, safety clasp on. Very nice and secure, won't fall off your wrist. Inside of that, you have Rolex's name engraved on the clasp, itself, and with all sports watches you have the neat feature of being able to adjust the bracelet, just very minorly, though. This is about five millimeters, so it isn't too, too huge of a change, but it can make the difference, sometimes. As you can see there, all you have to do, just pop the bracelet out, forward in five millimeters, or you can pull it back, that's five millimeters in, or out, rather. So, let me go ahead and show you this watch on a wrist. All right, so here's the watch. It's very beautiful. I really love the white dial. It's definitely a nice, you know, a nice breath of fresh air as opposed to those typical, general Rolex black dials. So, this white dial is very welcomed.
