The Racing Roots<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Rolex named this watch \u201cDaytona\u201d because of its long-running connection to motorsports, especially the legendary Daytona International Speedway. In 1962, Rolex became the official timekeeper of the 24 Hours of Daytona race.
