Since that time, the women&#8217;s models have evolved continuously, most recently with the release of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jaztime.com\/rolex\/datejust\/lady-datejust-28\" target=\"_blank\">Lady Datejust 28 in 2015<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">Featuring a redesigned case, with a larger 28mm case diameter, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jaztime.com\/rolex\/ladies\">Ladies Rolex<\/a> was well-received. This year, at Baselworld 2017, the manufacturer unveiled two new versions of the model, expanding the collection and making it available from a lower price point. Here, we look more closely at the two new releases.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><!--more--><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"affordable-stainless-steel-model\" class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Affordable Stainless Steel Model<\/b><br \/>\n<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1937 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jaztime.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Rolex-Ladies-Datejust-28-New-Baselworld-Stainless-Steel.jpg\" alt=\"Rolex Ladies Datejust 28 New Baselworld Stainless Steel\" width=\"720\" height=\"349\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.jaztime.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Rolex-Ladies-Datejust-28-New-Baselworld-Stainless-Steel.jpg 720w, https:\/\/www.jaztime.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Rolex-Ladies-Datejust-28-New-Baselworld-Stainless-Steel-300x145.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 720px) 100vw, 720px\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">Initially, the Lady Datejust 28 was only available in a choice of gold, or two-tone gold and stainless steel, referred to in Rolex terminology as &#8216;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.jaztime.com\/rolex-datejust-28-279381-aubergine-diamond-markers-bezel-rose-gold-stainless-steel-oyster\" target=\"_blank\">Rolesor<\/a>&#8216;. This year, for the first time, the 28mm model is available in 904L stainless steel, or in 904L stainless steel with an 18k white gold bezel.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">The pure stainless steel model features a smooth bezel, while the steel and white gold version features a fluted white gold bezel. Technically, this model is also classed as a &#8216;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.jaztime.com\/rolex-datejust-28-279381-white-mother-of-pearl-diamond-markers-bezel-rose-gold-stainless-steel-oyster\" target=\"_blank\">Rolesor<\/a>&#8216; model, but it does not feature the two-tone combination on the bracelet, like the previously-released gold and steel versions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">For those looking for something a little more extravagant, the steel and white gold version of the 2017 Lady Datejust 28 is also available with a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jaztime.com\/rolex-datejust-28-279381-white-mother-of-pearl-diamond-markers-bezel-rose-gold-stainless-steel-jubilee\" target=\"_blank\">diamond-set bezel<\/a> and 18k white gold settings.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"updated-and-reliable-movement\" class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Updated and Reliable movement<\/b><br \/>\n<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1940 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jaztime.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Rolex-Ladies-Datejust-28-New-Baselworld-Stainless-Steel-279171-1.jpg\" alt=\"Rolex Ladies Datejust 28 New Baselworld Stainless Steel 279171\" width=\"720\" height=\"338\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.jaztime.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Rolex-Ladies-Datejust-28-New-Baselworld-Stainless-Steel-279171-1.jpg 720w, https:\/\/www.jaztime.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Rolex-Ladies-Datejust-28-New-Baselworld-Stainless-Steel-279171-1-300x141.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 720px) 100vw, 720px\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">As with the models released in 2015 an 2016, the new Rolex Lady Datejust 28 watches are powered by the <a href=\"http:\/\/watchbase.com\/rolex\/caliber\/2236\" target=\"_blank\">in-house Caliber 2236 movement<\/a>, which is equipped with a patented Syloxi hairspring in silicon. This movement has Superlative Chronometer certification, precision to the order of -2\/+2 seconds per day and a 55 hour power reserve.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">Aesthetically, the model sports the classic features associated with the Datejust family, including the presence of the trademark date display window, which is located at the 3 o&#8217;clock position and fitted with a Cyclops magnifying lens.
