If you enjoy our videos, we'd greatly appreciate it if you'd buy a watch from jaztime.com once in a while. Today we're gonna be reviewing the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore. This is the reference number: 26231-OR.ZZ.D010CA.01 As of course, that's a mouthful to say and much more to type. We'll be putting the links to this watch in the description below. So today we'll covering the dial, bezel, case crown, chronograph pushers, strap, clasp. And we'll talk about the movement towards the end of the video. So talking more into the dial, we have a beautiful silver style dial. Claimed as silver, looks more of a white style dial, but otherwise still a very beautiful dial. The patterning that we have here is the Lady Tapisserie patterning, as this is a ladies watch. The Ladies Tapisserie patterning is specific to ladies watches. And what that is is that you can see the typical Audemars Piguet Tapisserie patterning being the square cutouts at the very back background of the watch itself. But it does stop at this certain point and you can see stops right at the index hour markers before it becomes a nice smooth borderation of that same color. Specifically for this one, we have a nice... When we get a little bit closer you can see cut grooves along the very outer edge, that makes that smooth-ish bordering around the watch, the watch dial. But besides that, very beautiful. An index hour markers fashioned in that rose gold with luminosity fillings for each hour markers along with the hour and minute hand; those are also luminous-filled. Of course we have the landmarking at the 12 o'clock position with two index hour markers for easier viewing of the time at a quick glance. Specifically for the luminosity, I'll go ahead and actually demonstrate the luminosity for you here. Give me a sec to charge up that luminosity and let me shut off my light box light here. And there we are. You can see, this is what you'll be seeing at night. Very simple, very easy to read dial face. As you can see, luminosity hour/minute hands on the index hour markers as well. And behind each out individual hour marker has those those index hour markers, we have individual dot behind each one to give even more viewing of it. Even on the ones that are missing the index hour markers at the three, six, and nine o'clock position, they still have those dots to make it easy to read during the night as well. All right, going back to the original color here you can see very beautiful, very beautiful dial. One thing to mention is it's glossier on the Tapisserie pattern itself. While these chronograph sub-dials are more of a matte coloration with that rose gold out-ring outlining the outer edge of it. As with any chronograph functions, we have the six o'clock position having the elapsed time for the seconds. And that's your actual seconds that's going on in your watch right now. As the central second time is controlled by those chronograph pushers as a two and four o'clock position. We have the 30-minute elapsed time as a three o'clock. And a 12-hour elapsed time at the nine o'clock position. But besides that, a very beautiful and unique dial all around, just because of that Lady Tapisserie patterning. Just very simple usage of the square cutouts with the borderation of the... Around those Tapisserie pattern. But to catch more attention to the face, we take a step back and look at the bezel. The bezel, absolutely beautiful bezel. We're looking at about 32 brilliant cut diamonds all around the bezel. About one carat weight in total. And nicely patterned in a four rows between each hexagonal screw. The hexagonal screw being a nice high polish itself. And that really adds to breaking the monotony, just covering the whole bezel in just diamonds. It actually gives it a nice landmarking viewpoint of not over encompassing the shine of just the diamond itself, by helping break apart the silhouette of each of the rows of diamonds. So it plays an important part just to have those hexagonal screws, even though they're on pretty much every Audemars Piguet watch, they've somehow incorporated it to be even more useful for the diamond diamond bezels. The diamond bezel itself is actually outlined with a nice high polish on the very outer edge of the bezel itself. And on the sides of the bezel you can see nice high polish as well, to contrast against the brush polishing of the case. Of course we always have the , nicely high polished as well, but that's always on always on watches. But this nice high polish gives a nice contrast to the sides of the case. As you can see that all the sides are nicely brushed polished. As this is a ladies watch, as we move on to the case, the case size is a 37-millimeter case size. So from index finger to my thumb here, that's 37-millimeters in diameter. From the side profile, the case thickness, we're looking at a 12.4-millimeter thickness, so it shows up on screen very nicely. It's still a little bit large of a profile though, considering the case and the bezel as still being a nice jutting upwards; upwards and out. On the side of the case you can see a nice brush finish on both sides. Nice brush finishes. A little bit of a high polish on the chronograph pushers, on the very outer edges and on the crown itself as well, with the Audemars Piguet logo on the crown. For the crown, it is a screw down crown. We're gonna unwind counter-clockwise as shown: In the standard position where you can wind your watch about 15-to-20 clockwise turns is all you need to get the watch charter from a dead stop. Pulling the crown out to the next position, will allow you to adjust the date at right between a four and a five o'clock position. Very quick, very easy to use to adjust that date. And of course the final position will allow you to adjust the hands bidirectionally. I'm just gonna go ahead and reset it back to the 10 and two; very simple to do. And as always, press the crown against the case and screw it in nice and tight. As you want to keep the watch water resistant, specifically for those this watch, we're looking at 50-meters or about 166-feet. All right, so for the chronograph functions now: The chronograph functions as every other chronograph function on a watch, it's a two o'clock position. Push it will start that central secondhand and any elapsed time progressing on that seconds hand will add to the 30-minute elapsed time. In a 12-hour elapsed time, as I mentioned, the six o'clock position is actually your original seconds. That's going with the watch, the hour and the minute hand currently. This central second hand that's tracking your elapsed time as right now, can be stopped by pressing the two o'clock pusher again and hit reset what the four o'clock pusher. And that will reset the 30-minute subdial and the 12-hour subdial as well. And it resets all three of these back to the 12 o'clock position. As you can see all three of that trio is not moving in the slightest. All right, moving on to the band now: a beautiful white band. Actually you don't see this combination fairly often of a white band with the rose gold case and I actually wish I could see it more. This absolutely looks gorgeous. The band besides it being a rubber band, we're gonna go show you the clasp here. The clasp has the Audemars Piguet logo name on there and you can adjust the wrist size as simple as you would a Tang buckle. But for this one, it's actually a folding clasp as you can see. Nicely high polish of rose gold blades. And I'll snap that back on once more, and there we are. Very simple, very easy to use clasp. I just wanna gonna go ahead and show you this caseback, actually I got some of my fingerprints on there, I do apologize. I'm gonna go ahead and clean that off a little bit. And take a look at that caseback, absolutely gorgeous caseback. Nice borderation of going around each hexagonal screw crane. And it's a very unique shape that borders around this Royal Oak Offshore that's nicely high polished. And in a very beautiful font as well. And of course we have some landmarks. Right here on the right side of the case with the Au 750, stating that this is a stainless gold watch. And also have some additional landmarks on the other side as well. All right, moving on to the movement now. The movement is the automatic movement; this is an automatic watch. This is a self-winding caliber 2385 movement. That's typically used in these ladies chronograph watches for the Audemars Piguet. And we're looking at the power reserve of a 40-hour power reserve. Meaning you can put this watch down on the Friday evening, pick you back up on the Sunday afternoon and it'll be keeping time just fine. And of course, when I talk about power reserve, that is referring to if the watch is fully-wound and you just go ahead and place it down on your dresser and not planning to wear it for the weekend. You only wanna wear it on dressier occasions. The watch will stop eventually, being the power reserve being 40-hours. And you'll just have to simply wind the watch from that dead stop, where I've shown you on the crown functions. Besides that, automatic movement means that when this watch is on your wrist, just the simple inertia from moving your hand throughout the day will keep the watch going. But besides that, the movement is just the function of the hour, minute, and seconds hand chronograph features and the three subdials as well for elapsed time. Unfortunately, I can't show you watch on my wrist as it's for a smaller wrist.
