JAZTIME'S HISTORY

Jaztime has been buying, selling, and trading luxury timepieces since 2005. Located in Orange County, California, Jaztime has been
providing its customers with great savings and value for both new and pre-owned watches. Throughout the years, Jaztime has held prime
locations at the Irvine Spectrum, the Irvine Market Place, and the Tustin Market Place. Jaztime offers a variety of services:

  • Buying your watch. Jaztime strives to offer fair and agreeable prices for luxury Swiss timepieces.
  • Offering trade-in credit for your watch to be applied towards an item in our inventory. If your item of choice is not in stock, we can special order it for you, arriving in 2-5 business days.
  • Providing in-house Swiss servicing for your watch maintenance needs. If your watch needs a full service or part replacement, we can have back in full working order within 2-3 weeks.
  • Upgrading your watch to the specifications of your choice. Whether it’s adding diamonds or changing out the bracelet, customizing your watch to fit your style has never been easier.
  • Offering great savings for the most popular luxury watch brands, including: Rolex, Panerai, Breitling, Audemars Piguet, Omega, Cartier, Patek Philippe, and more.

Our goal at Jaztime is to provide the most efficient platform for all of your their watch needs. Our business model allows customers to easily change the watch on their wrist to reflect their current preferences. In addition to our online services, you can call or visit our store in Newport Beach and speak with an experienced watch dealer for personal assistance. Your security and confidence are our utmost concern. All transactions are digitally encrypted using the latest technologies. Jaztime will never share your information with any third parties and will never send you spam mail.

JazTime previously held retail locations at the Irvine Spectrum mall, Irvine Market Place, and the Tustin Market place. However, in Jan 2014 two gunman entered the store guns drawn, held the employees at gun point and robbed the place of more than $500,000 worth of watches. Thankfully, no one was shot or killed.

Since then Jaztime has moved its business away from the dangerous retail environment and into the much safer online store where none of the watches or cash are held at our Newport Beach office. As the saying goes “sometimes bad things have to happen before good things can.” As a result of the terrible robbery Jaztime was able to redesign a more effective online store, cut overhead, and streamline our process in turn offering our customers the same quality watches at an even larger discount than before. Order Processing

Orders received prior to 2:00 PM Pacific Standard Time will be processed within the same business day provided that the goods are in stock and customer identification is verified.

To ensure that orders placed online prior to 2:00 PM PST will ship the same day, please review our “Payment Methods” section below and double check the product availability by calling Jaztime customer service prior to making your purchase.

Saturday orders must be placed before 12:00 AM PST for a same-day transaction. After hour, weekend, and holiday orders will be processed the next business day.

After an order is placed, the customer will receive an order confirmation via email. If there are any discrepancies with your order, please contact Jaztime as soon as possible to correct the issue.

When the order ships, a shipment tracking number will be provided to the customer via email. For package tracking, please refer to our "Shipping" section below.

Shipping Methods

Overnight Shipping available for $100 via Fedex within the continental United States. Next Day Saturday delivery option is available.

Every item shipped out of our store is fully insured and requires a signature confirmation upon delivery.

You will receive a shipping tracking number via email once your order is shipped from our store. Parcel tracking info is available online at Fedex.

International Orders are charged a standard $150 shipping fee. International shipping rates are subject to change depending on the price of the order and distance of delivery.

Shipping Restrictions

  • Air and ground shipment time frames are in business days only, and exclude weekends and/or holidays.
  • Weekend deliveries are valid only if; the Next Day Air Saturday delivery option is selected, and the package will be shipped to a domestic location.

Shipping and Item Problems

If a shipped order was lost or damaged, Fedex must conduct an investigation. If problems arise, please contact Jaztime within 10 business days of the item shipping from our store. If the package is not located, Fedex must process a claim for the package. Claims can take two weeks to process. Once the carrier claims responsibility for the loss or damage of your shipped item, an insurance reimbursement will be issued to Jaztime and and your original payment will be refunded in full or an alternate order will be placed.    

Payment Methods

Jaztime will accept payments via the following methods: wire transfer, direct bank deposit, cash (at our discretion).  All international orders must be paid via wire transfer. You may browse the following payment methods below for more details:

Direct Bank Deposit

Jaztime’s preferred payment method is the direct bank deposit. This form of payment avoids the fees associated with other payment methods, and allows us to give you the best possible price. You can make a direct bank deposit if you bank with Bank of America by going into the branch and doing a direct transfer which is free. 

Wire Transfer

This can be done through your online banking profile or if you physically walk into your bank branch and ask the customer service to help you send a wire. Once you checkout on our website you will be given an order number and emailed wire transfer details. Wire transfers are the most secure form of payment, and it is a required form payment for international buyers outside of the United States. Jaztime typically receives domestic wire transfers the same business day before 2pm PST; international wire transfers about one to three business days to process. Once payment is received and cleared, your order will be shipped. 

Credit Cards

We DO NOT allow online or in person credit card payments.

Cash

To keep ensure the safest environment for our workers we accept cash at our discretion.

Paypal

We no longer offer paypal as a form of payment.

 

Sales Tax

All items shipped within the state of California ONLY will be charged applicable California State sales tax. Sales tax is NOT applicable on orders shipped anywhere outside of California.  

Return Policy

All sales are final.

Refunds are only granted if items are grossly misrepresented in the product listings (i.e. incorrect model numbers, wrong papers, etc.) In such an event, a refund for the full price of the item will be issued, the watch will be exchanged in credit towards another item, or a partial refund will be given.

All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. That means that if you send us a deposit for a particular watch but later decide that you don't want it anymore you would forfeit the deposit and you cannot apply it toward a different watch. Your deposit is only valid toward the watch that you left the deposit for.  For example: If you leave a $700 deposit for a Rolex then decided that you do not want it anymore for whatever reason we would not return the deposit.  The reason is because when you leave us a deposit we take the watch offline and reserve it specifically for you, we stop taking offers on it and lose out on any potential sales or trades of that watch.  If you put a deposit on a watch that we needed to order, custom configure for you, whether it's on our website or not we would order the watch and the parts needed and begin configuring it for you once we received your deposit. Should you decide that you don't want it any longer your deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable because we have already either started to assemble your watch or have already ordered it from our supplier. Once we do that we cannot return your watch or the parts and therefore we now need to stock it.

We accept three kinds of deposits, all of which are non-refundable and non-transferable.  The first is paypal friends and family, the second is wire transfer, the third is cash.

International Orders

International orders are charged a standard $150 shipping fee. International shipping rates are subject to change depending on the price of the order and distance of delivery. To ensure a secure transaction, wire transfers are the only accepted form of payment for international orders. Once the wire transfer is received, the order will be shipped.  

Warranty

Every watch we sell has a 1-Year Jaztime Guarantee. Our watches are guaranteed to keep time within specification for 1 year from the date of purchase; or else we’ll service it for FREE! Watches that have symptoms of abnormally gaining time, losing time, or not keeping proper time are eligible to be serviced under our warranty program.

  • Our warranty does not cover "external damage" to the product. The Jaztime Guarantee does not cover any damages resulting from wear to the watch case, crystal/glass, watch bracelet, watch bezel, straps, screws, crown/stem, finishes, clasps/buckles, or any other physical damage to the watch.
  • Damage that occurs due to having the watch serviced by a third party null and voids the warranty from Jaztime. This limited warranty does not cover any damage if there is evidence of excessive wear and tear, or if used under conditions which exceed the watch manufacturer’s water resistance guidelines. Consequential and incidental damages are not recoverable under this warranty or any implied warranties.
  • No wristwatch is truly waterproof. Watches are resistant to water only under specific conditions. Do not submerge your watch in hot or warm water - especially putting the watch in a Jacuzzi, hot bath, or hot shower. Always keep the crown fastened down and make sure the caseback is on tight before submerging the watch in water.
  • Jaztime's warranty does not cover watch batteries, however, we do offer a complimentary battery replacement within 3 months of the date of purchase.
